Well, true, but I admit the sailing in Phantom Hourglass looked interesting to me at first. Probably because, tedious though it was, the sailing mechanics in Wind Waker were perfect. But they're not linear like a train is. Linearity was a problem with Twilight Princess, and now it's gotten a bit more literal. At least on PH's boat, you can stop and adjust course.

Whoa... that new trailer. The phantom's Zelda!? Sure didn't see that one coming. I guess the Ghost Ship idea's being recycled as the Ghost Train. Kind of weird, but okay. At least we know why it's called Spirit Tracks now. But what I don't understand is who those two people who carried Zelda's body away are? And that person behind her - he looks an awful lot like one of the pirates.

The ghost train looks like something right out of Thomas the Tank Engine... The villain also looks stupid. VERY stupid. I'm not liking the way all of this is going...

Wait wtf *watches the trailer*

... Wow. Zelda basically dies? O_o That's a dark twist, but seems pretty interesting. Plus, is that a Triforce piece I see at 2:19? :O

Looks like Gonzo, yep. But remember Wind Waker, in Hyrule Castle, the portrait of Zelda and her attendees? They all looked like the pirates, too, so it's probably a reference to that. icon_wink.gif

I don't know if she's dead, but if her spirit has just left her body...that's all.

But it definitely looks a lot more interest now. And I like the new shield design, I gotta say that. icon_wink.gif

It does look interesting. I like how she comes along with us for the adventure and it's not another "save the princess type of story".

That's the basic concept of death. icon_wink.gif

Maybe they're being like Banjo-Tooie, where you had to restore Bottles' soul (and a couple others, if I remember right).

Well, I mean... it's more like her body got stolen. Reminds me of TP in a way... wink wink.

Also. Looks like Nintendo got some inspiration from Mother 3. icon_biggrin.gif

Just watched the new trailer...I want that game a whole lot more now. Looks very dark, even for a Zelda game.

I know. The part with the Rope Snake made me so excited. icon_razz.gif

It looks grey, not the traditional yellow-gold color. Maybe it's a Force Gem.

Or maybe it's a change to the series: The Triforce doesn't turn golden until it's collected. Well, each individual triangle, at least.

My guess is that the "Light Force" essentially is what is needed for Zelda to get her body back. I think it's a good guess.

That makes sense. But I always assumed that the Light Force and the Triforce of Wisdom were the same thing. I guess Spirit Tracks might end up proving me wrong.

Well, think about it. If the light force was infused in Zelda's body...she doesn't have her body, and the reaction could've split it off into x amount of shards. Of course, maybe I'm just thinking better than Nintendo. They'll probably do something cliche...

Wow. The trailer makes it look... really good... although that WAS my philosophy all along, it's still reassuring. It's pretty neat that Zelda plays more of role that "get captured, get saved" this time. I want to know who that guy carrying off Zelda was though... Probably a new villain, but that train looked like it had Ganon's face on it. Also, I love that song! I've watched the trailer multiple times just to hear it.

Hmm, conspiracy time. The background of the video looks like a map. Think it's the new Hyrule?
