Thanks! Yeah, I forgot to mention that the reason you can slide-tackle fire is that it's an enemy... not an actual fire. icon_razz.gif That's why I didn't get Fire ability when I inhaled it. icon_heh.gif

And now that we've mostly finished the tiles, all that's left to rip are the sprites themselves... including special effects, enemies, and Kirby. Shouldn't be too long now!

Oh yeah, by the way, don't worry about how slow Kirby slides down the ladder and such. Joe's fixing it so that he slides down faster. And also sorry for the video quality. icon_razz.gif I took the video in 640x400, instead of 320x200 or whatever the smaller version of Zelda Classic is... If anyone wants the bigger video, I'll send it to ya'!

Epic. Even with the basic fire and keese enemies it's awesome - the best part is that they only serve as a springboard to which more awesome can come forth. I'll probably be using this when this is released and I have the motivation to actually open ZC up again.

The next thing to happen'll be the scripts moving over into the new file. At the moment, all of the scripts were written in a pretty old version of the tileset, with only a couple areas ripped into it.
So we're gonna move them over, and then make a new video showing more of what AL and Blaman have been busy ripping.

I haven't exactly forgotten about this, it's just I've had a bit on my plate at the moment. I'm sure I'll be able to get back to work on it in a little bit though.

Well, I've been waiting for AL to send me a newer version of the tileset with some more areas in for me to update the scripts onto.

He hasn't yet, so I haven't done it =P

Sorry Joe!! I'm with blaman, here... been busy! But I figure I should have it done pretty soon... if I ever open it up. icon_razz.gif I've been working on my LoZ game on ZQuest right now, and haven't had the most motivation for this ripping/making palettes/combo making... it's tedious stuff! But, I'm almost done... I hope. I'm pretty sure I only have a few more pages to re-rip and combo-alize and palette tweak. icon_razz.gif

Hey AGAIN!! It's been a couple months, (hope I'm not grave-diggin'! icon_razz.gif The threshold is a couple months, right?) BUT in the shadows of time, I have been at work (in short periods over long periods) and have updated the Kirby quest, and me and Joe are working on a demo MAYBE and very probably a new video... With sound this time, hopefully! icon_wink.gif

So, yeah, this isn't dead, yet, and is probably (hopefully) over the 50 or 60 percent mark... maybe more! All that's left is cleanin' up, scripting, and ripping actual sprites, which shouldn't take too long... and then maybe some beta testin'.

So... yep, we are still open to some help, if anyone wants to offer it! If you need the quest, I'll send it to ya (for palettes and stuff).

It's been tedious work, but I am trying my HARDEST not to give up! (and it's just like me to give up after a while... just see my previous 5 non-finished quests... I'm not proud of 'em. icon_razz.gif) So, please don't be too hard on me! If Joe and blaman weren't helpin' me with this, Kirby would'a been done back at the beginning of school! icon_heh.gif

... I'm not sure if it's wise to post the quest directly here yet, but if you need it, I'll almost definitely give it to you. icon_razz.gif

But, I haven't been around for a while, as most of you know... I dunno, the project was going so well until school came back around! Agh, maybe this summer, I'll finish this up so it'll stop coming to mind! icon_razz.gif

So, yeah, just to let you all know I'm still alive, and although the project may be in a coma of sorts, we haven't turned the life-support off just yet! icon_wink.gif

Oh yeah, sorry about this.

This fell victim to my very short attention span a while back.
I haven't forgotten about it at all; don't worry about that.

The code's just very badly written, and I got a little way into re-writing it and got distracted by something else.
