It's above the swamp after Level 1. Near a raft maze.

I'd never thought I'd have to see that certain portal ever again.

Ahahaha. Clever joke.

The Big Quiver can be found on the beach area on the northwest part of the island. The Quiver is the prize of the Raft Minigame. You only need to have the Gauntlet to move one rock to get though the Akavir Swamp. Exit the swamp to the norht and you will arrive to the area I was talking abot.

Well Ninelives... what this game is about is exploring. It's not that it's wrong to ask for help when you need it, but being lazy to explore through a magnificent overworld feels kinda wrong.

That was the most expensive Bow I've ever seen. I was lucky I had enough at the time. Should be worth it. And now, I'm going back to decimate level 2 with my new sword.

The rooms inbetween the maze rooms weren't there for nothing, you know.

Okay I'm still in LV1 (yes beleive it), got the last key and had seen earlier the chest that I'm sure has the Boss key. BUT, I can't find that chest again. I think it was on B2 but not sure. DOH!!! I know where the Boss is.

The general area is north of the swamp. You need the Power Glove, and obviously to have already completed level 1.

Edit: This is in relation to Ninelives's question.

Edit2: Also note Peteo's post above. Gives better instructions, it does.

From what I've played so far this quest is quite good. Unfortunately the overworld graphics seem somewhat tired and old since they are based on the Pure Extreme Tileset, especially in comparison to the Minish Cap style dungeon graphics, but that is by no means a slight to Wolfie's overworld design capabilities which are very good at taking the mediocrity of the Pure Set and molding into a very enjoyable overworld experience. I have to say that the trap in the Ancient Ruin was positively evil, lmao, and the fact that I was not paying enough attention to catch the tile triggers in the floor at first was personally amusing, but since I find it somewhat easy to visualize the layout of a dungeon it was relatively easy for me to navigate the multiple floors of the dungeon despite the water level puzzles and confusing nature of multiple floors. That's also why the Water Temples in the console games were fairly easy for me to figure out as well. I'm guessing that the flying pots might have been one of the scripted items used, and I can see the dialogue boxes being implemented with direct warp combos and graphics, which would also allow for the item acquistion music flourish as well. The only major gripes I have are that the music that I've seen so far while perfectly suiting the mood is a little too quiet in volume though I do like the ambient nature of the music instead of it overpowering the scene, and the minimap in the overworld seems pointless since it doesn't really show any useful information because of the sheer size of the island, which forces you to rely more on the map pulled up with the space bar to get a better fix on your position until you become familiar enough with the territory to navigate without it's aid. The only way I can think of to fix that would be to adopt a similiar map style to that used by Shadowfall in his Origins quests with only the areas you are currently exploring showing up on the minimap to give you a little better idea of where you are without removing too much of that feeling of being utterly lost either. If the Sky Garden is based on the similiar level in The Illusion Of Gaia upon which it is supposed to be based, that should be cool to see, since that is probably the most memorable part of that game for me. Anyway, very good game so far and your efforts to complete something of this scope are very commendable. Another thing of note to players if they are interested and have not figured it out themselves yet, is that if you have one of the ZC builds with the launcher program, you can copy the program into the Lost Isle build directory which will allow you to run the game in the smaller 320 x 240 resolution; this will hide the pixelation that occurs with full screen play and make the already good graphics look even better. At the point of this post I have completed the Ancient Ruin without aid aside from reading a post about looking closely at the floor in the "trap" room to confirm what I already suspected about there being triggers of some kind in the room that I was being too lax to look for at first, and am roaming around in the lava flows trying to determine how to reach the Sky Garden. I have five of I believe the seven hearts recommended before entry to the second dungeon in addition to two heart fragments, I found one of the magic upgrades in the caves in addition to of course the bow and arrows, I have the Raft out of the first dungeon, I have a full potion available that I have not used so far, and I recently acquired the Power Gauntlets in the lava flows. I'm not sure if I need the Whistle at this point to move the Shiekah pillar to proceed, but I'll figure it out.....

Okay, I'm in Level 1 and can't seem to find a way to drain the water out, so I'm stuck on the first floor with nowhere to go. Any help?

You do. Check the Tahou Forest.

Find this room. You should be able to get there by heading either. 1) To the right of the entrance for a bit, crossing the river, and then going through a door and turning left. Only if you've activated a shortcut by.... 2) Going around the long way.
You can bomb a wall in there.
