Been playing around with the Instrumentality Tileset and I'm thinking of remaking one of my older quests with this tileset.

Today I was reminded that integer division is a thing. I also finished more or less all the technical aspects of this boss, so now it's just tweaking the movement pattern so it isn't a total pushover. I also discovered that Moosh made something almost identical about four months ago.

I am The Simpsons, destroyer of worlds. If you can think of something, I have done it already. ![]()

Finished more sprites. Spriting (in EZGBZ and Firebird) has become a lot easier and faster for me with each day. I'm completely in love with spriting.

Finished the bare bones of my village map. Just need to add detail and gameplay elements and my first map is finally finished and functional.

never acomplish much, because i get new ideas and move on.
i am having a problem. i have the item enabled in the areas I want. I pick up the item and it dosen't go into my inventory. all I did was change the graphic. but it is not in my inventory.
why is this happening? I want it this way to start everything.
then I can check everything good. and then whine for help for "how to make cutscenes?" and "how do you make people and sign posts talk again?"

Is the item properly set up on your subscreen? Did you tick the "equipment item" box?

yeah i kind of did not mention i was ----ing with the subscreens.
rule 1 of Zquest. don't touch subscreen unless you know what you are doing!!111oneoneone
*edit*
no it dosen't seem to be that. it has equptment item checked. the roc feather, where enabled shows up, and I tried to make the wooden sword into a stick graphic. it won't show at all. both won't show. but i made a stone for low arrow, and bow that is an arm graphic to pretend you are throwing rocks. that shows up.

My accomplishment in ZC is that I am very close to completing an entire Quest with minor scripts since i am still learning that part of the editor. I am doing the final touch-ups and will probably submit it to PureZC hopefully this month or at late sometime in August. Been working on this crap for over a year here and there and to have something close to a final project I thought I was not going to ever finish it.

Good for you, FF! I'm interested to see what you've got in the works.
It wasn't exactly today, but a few days ago I put together an area with an interesting light/dark mechanic. Some things are only visible when the room's lit, others only in the dark, so you have to alternate between them to see clues and navigate the area.
I also set up all my level 2 enemies, using palette swaps of the 20 or so original enemy sprites I've made. ![]()

You using a script to accomplish that or just secret combo tricks for the light and dark mechanic?
