It must not be shift then but if you hold down something you can do more than one at once. Don't give up hope! I had the same problem for a while.
Could someone please tell us what you hold down?

Yeah you can import an entire page of tiles at once. You can also assign tiles to multiple combos at once, but ZQuest is dumb with how it lays them out and it's impractical to do more than four at a time. Just open the tile page, highlight four tiles with shift, then press M.
And today in ZC, I made a water level. A sideview water level. With swimming.

I did not know that. Wow, that would've been helpful when making my title screen.
Also, sideview water! That sounds really cool!

Which version are you referring to with that shortcut? Because for some reason, when I hold down SHIFT, all that happens is part of the picture goes off screen to the left. That or I'm doing something horribly wrong. Meh, I'll just go back to doing it the tedious old fashioned way of drawing everything tile by tile.

It dawned on me today that the graphic artists responsible for Z1 had no idea that people would be using their graphics to make custom games... in the year 2014.
Also, I've made a lot of progress on I Am Two Bored in the past week or two. The overworld is probably about 30-40% done. Level 1 is almost done and level 2 has been started.

I discovered you can change the string font. Wow, so many cool options. This is amazing. Why didn't I explore this sooner?

I finished an area, and scripted a replacement for key blocks that allows me to define any item as a "key" and have multiple different types of key blocks on one screen.
Tomorrow ... Bosses!

Today I just made a few screens. Nothing too special. I almost planned today, but work today tired me too much. ![]()

I'm almost 50% done with my refining process. Demo will come after that!

Made a new (but not really) boss. Turned out the big problem with it wasn't screwing around with arrays like I was expecting, but variable scope. Might look at this some more tomorrow before I inevitably give up and add another global variable.

With a huge special thanks to Moosh and Lejes, I have finished Level 7 in the remake of my game, The Flow of Time: Remastered. I have made a video showing a small portion of Level 7 and the boss, Hammer-Go-Round. Sorry about the video quality!

Looks great. I approve of your decision to get rid of the random fireballs. They did make the fight harder but not necessarily in a fair way if you don't have a shield. The ground shaking effect was also a nice touch.

I finally finished the stupid cutscenes which took me about a week. RAGGGEGGEG!Things I have left:
Getting sprite for villain
Implementing three small scripts (quakes with fear)
Playing through the demo to polish off the rough parts

I finished my first scripted boss!! ... Well, three of them, actually.
There's two bosses that you first fight separately, then later they're combined with overlapping attacks. Synching up their attack phases and movement was a real challenge, but I'm really pleased with how they turned out. ![]()
