Got to the second stratum of Etrian Odyssey. First boss didn't cause me too much trouble, though one party member did fall at the end and lost out on some damn good exp. ):

 

I also picked up Super Meat Boy again. I'm currently at Hell, though I'm going back to the other worlds to get all the bandages/warp zones/A+ ranks/anything else I can get before I keep going. Except the 'X Boy' achievements. Those can go jump in a fire. >_>

 

 

Played about an hour and a half of Shin Megami Tensei IV for Nintendo 3DS. From first impressions, I have to say that this game is totally legit. The production value is off the freakin' charts compared to the other SMT RPGs on the 3DS like Devil Survivor Overclocked and Devil Summoner Soul Hackers. I was extremely impressed overall with how the game started. I can't wait to play more of this game.

 

Excellent to hear. I'm looking forward to picking it up later this week, hopefully. I haven't played a main SMT game (I've played Persona 4 a decent chunk, and a bit of Digital Devil Saga), so this should be interesting. :3

Aside from the Ice Dragon (stupid counter/healing moves)I finished the remake on the 3DS, but I seem to have missed the 2nd guild master somewhere... If only I knew Japanese

I've been doing bingo races in Ocarina of Time pretty much every other night. Very fun and rewarding, and also enraging if you're racing against the clock... Forest temple skip to Phantom Ganon screwed me over from subbing 2 hours

Still working on Seiken Densetsu 3, I'm having to go kill the 8 god beast... so far 2 down and six to to go, but before the next one I have to go level my people up... that last boss was quite hard and put a whooping on me.

Not many. Right now I'm mostly just playing Game & Wario for the Wii U with my family, but sometimes I work on games like Super Paper Mario, Super Mario World, New Super Mario Bros. U, New Super Luigi U, Mario 64, Ocarina of Time & more.

Finally did finish Donkey Kong Country Returns, the main game anyway. 100%ing it can come later. Much later. As fun as the game was, it needed a little polishing in areas and that final boss was something awful. Some of it was just too brutal, as well. Wouldn't call it as good as the SNES trilogy, but still a pretty good game that still captures the spirit of Donkey Kong Country, so Retro deserves some credit just for that.

Just picked up Shin Megami Tensei IV and Fire Emblem awakening... Yeah I figured "why not take advantage of that club Nintendo deal" And pick these games, and I did get the limited edition of SMT IV pretty sweet if I say so myself!

 

I don't know which one I should play first though... I might go with Fire Emblem awakening.

Shin Megami Tensei IV is taking up a lot of my time. The game is definitely difficult, but the trick to play this game is to think of it as an advanced Pokemon game where you try to exploit and take advantage of the enemies' weaknesses. You need to recruit demons as much as you can. While the demons you recruit may be weak, they do serve as possible Fusion material demons to create stronger demons. And unlike Persona, this game encourages you to keep demons available as backups because you WILL die a lot in this game. The enemies are gonna kick your ass! To those who think turn-based RPGS are all just spamming the "Attack" command, you're argument is WAAAAAY invalid when playing this game.

I'm on chapter 6 on Fire Emblem: Awakening so far so good, I'm really liking this game! I love the option for casual mode... Now I don't have to worry about my people dying out on me due to my stupidity.

 

And I have looked at SMT: IV and it seems pretty awesome it reminds me of old school rpgs which is not a bad thing.

Looks like this game is going to be hard though...  which I like.

At least I have a mini walk-through for the game as it came with one which I'm going to say this know I feel like I got a great deal with it.

Oh I'm throwing this out there two... now there is one XenoBlade game back out in the general population <.< I traded and got $48 in value.

I only paid $40 so I made a prophet kinda.

 

And now I'm trying think what I'll buy with my $30 in eshop credits. (Hope Nintendo does more stuff like this in the future ).

Made it to chapter 10 on Fire Emblem: Awakening I have to say I really like this game so far, there is one character that is complete useless Donnel... I mean I can't even get him pass level 2 I don't why they even let you get him... as he is just a plain old craptastic unit.

Donnel is actually one of the best characters in the game. It's all because of his Aptitude skill Once you get him to Level 10, you can use a Second Seal to switch to a much better class. Though I highly recommend leveling him up to 15 to gain a nice new skill (I forgot what it was). If you decide to have Donnel mate with someone who will have a female child, then I highly recommend making Donnel a Warrior so he can get Counter which is exclusive to male units.

Ah... So there is a good point to using him, just for the skill he has. So any tips on leveling him?

It's relatively easy. Just make sure he always delivers the final blow or have him pair up with another unit and have that unit deliver the final blow in battle.

Okay spent awhile last night and got Donnel leveled and class changed and promoted and married to Panne and got the child Yarne?.

Don't know if that was a good idea but whatever, I do see that donnel is a unstoppable killing machine. XD
