Hits the spot. Nice design, flow; however, the green is too much. I suggest adding contrasting shades or colors.

... dude. It's a statue. The owl statue has been around since Majora's Mask, so the idea to use it as a save point isn't yours. Heck, save points in ZC is an old concept and the fact that Skyward Sword reintroduced save points could have influenced anyone. He may have been inspired by your idea, but that's not stealing an idea, because, well, it's not your idea anyway.

I thought we were done with the "design stealing" drama.

I like the screen, it's very reminiscent of LA: one of my favourite Zelda games. It gives me a very nostalgic feeling! However I don't like the contrast between the greens and the white on the screen.

Looks pretty good to me. Not much you can do with a village really. Maybe try a different palette?
