Numero dos: in Triforce Dungeon 1, I got past the second maze without help but... what do I do here?

IPB Image

I've tried going 4 left, 5 up, 1 right... all different combinations of that. I've tried 1 right, 2 up, 3 right, 4 up (due to the E N E clues from previous rooms) but still can't get it. I see there's a 1, 2, 3, and 4 block "packages" but I can't seem to figure out how it relates to directions... does it have anything to do with the 3 different tiles and single torch at the bottom? A hint or tip first, then if I still can't figure it out, I'll cry a bit (not really) then ask for the direct answer. I do like how each Triforce Dungeon has its own theme/gimmick though, neat idea.

The Blocks tell you where to go. 1 block 2 blocks etc. That's your answer.

yes, don't come back to that fast maze game until after you've acquired the ladder. And thanks for being so enthusiastic about Lost Isle. It really is a well-rounded quest.
Also, read up the readme file, it should tell you exactly how many HC pieces you should have by the time you first step foot in each dungeon. The spoiler map will help, but at the moment, I don't have the time to figure out which are available.

Wolfie is correct, it is a hard task trying to figure out what HC Pieces you're missing when we don't know which ones you have found. But the 2nd level should be doable with 6 hearts... if that comforts at all. icon_smile.gif

The E, N, E, N clues between the maze rooms are tips for the final maze... icon_wink.gif

Oh good lord, it really was that easy. I can't believe I overthought it so much. Told you guys I'd be doing alot of that. icon_lol.gif Yeah Peteo, I also figured the ENEN clues were for the last maze after Bowser pointed out the obvious clue to the maze before for me. My thanks go out to both of you!

Yeah, I figured it wouldn't be easy trying to see which ones I got and missed. Never hurts to ask, though. icon_wink.gif I'll just go ahead and try to tackle Level 2 with what I have now. Just kindof annoying knowing that there's something in the game I can and should be able to get but can't figure out exactly how or even which ones I'm missing, haha. Oh well, I'll come back to that later.

Edit: Okay, I lie. But I did find 2 of them I was missing, one overlooking the south of Glathriel Canyon and the other back in Level 1 (I finally remembered that block being down there). Now I have 7 1/4 HCs, and I am content with my Heart Container search.

But seriously, thanks for all the help everyone. It makes the game much more fun knowing that, should I get stuck, I won't be completely stuck forever since there are people to help. Quite a few games have been left uncompleted by me due to lack of help. So, thanks again. icon_biggrin.gif

Edit2: Okay, well I'm in Level 2 and it's insane. I got the Compass and now I'm lost... this place is huge and has 4 million switches and colored blocks in it. Managed to somehow get to and beat the mini-boss, only to realize I don't have a key to unlock the chest. icon_frown.gif I'm assuming there's a key in the Light Garden south of where you start, behind some blue blocks but I can only get there when the blocks are up.

Nope wayne, the key isn't in the south of the Light side, it is in the northern part of the Light side. You have to find a way to lower the blue blocks on the right side of the entrance to the level, and then head right from the entrance and continue from there. If you can't figure out how the reach the key on the Light side I could always make a video... icon_smile.gif

if you come across a ravenous plant that has spike tendrils everywhere, you're pretty damn close to that key you need. icon_wink.gif

I can't believe I didn't realize that was a bombable wall. I am so very ashamed.

Thanks for the tips, both of you!

Now I have collected the Compass, 2 keys (both used: Power Rod, Boss Key), and the Map. I am off to find the Boss Room, which I still haven't even glimpsed yet. What's up with the "Slime room" you go to after touching the green teleport tiles? Is it just a magic recharge room?

It's exactly just that, a recharge room for magic.

Oh and the boss is located at the eastern part of the Dark side. icon_smile.gif

Yeah, I noticed that before. Couldn't figure out how to get there, though. Then I saw there was an unlit Magic crystal and spent about the next half hour trying to figure out how to get around it to hit it. The boss was rather easy as well but altogether a very annoying but still fun dungeon.

Tralala, off to find my new Sword and Boomerang and Mail. icon_biggrin.gif

Good idea to go after the Mail now, you will most likely be thankful of it when you get to Level 3. icon_smile.gif And you're going after the Boomerang too? That's good because you need that item at Lv3. But candle first, then Boomerang...

Look for a strange face in the walls of the cave, bomb it until it is destroyed. The Death Skull is past there.

Thanks. Okay, know I am in Level four, I have the Boss Key, Flame Chip, have used both keys, and have lowered the first 3 gates. Where is the switch to lower gate 4?

ya know the pathway that lead out to the upper left part of the wastelands where the HC Piece was? Go back through that pathway again, but be on the lookout for some unreachable raging Armos, use your flame chip on those enemies to find your way to switch 4.
