I knew he was going to be in there. I'm just glad it's now official.

But the circle is complete: He started off as an unlockable character, and returns to one.

I like his moveset better than Lucas's.

Really? I prefer Lucas for some reason... maybe because I'm not good with Psi Fire in mid-air.

You haven't played Lucas yet to really know how he feels. icon_razz.gif You can read about it, certainly, or watch videos of him in action, but you'll have to experiment on your own with him in-game before you can say that.

I'm planning on doing that with Snake. Snake just looks so interesting to use... I can't wait to get my hands on him as a playable character. Very exciting.

Lucas is just Ness though, right..? Just with a few slightly different attacks and Psi Freeze, and Psi Fire goes straight, even in midair (which I prefer).

Toon Link looks like fun, although i wish he had a different final smash.

At Smash Bros. Dojo, they make it sound like the final smash is the best move, but for some characters, it's definitely not.
Like Lucario, his only does somewhere around 80 damage max, but doesnt send the opponent flying, so it's not much use in multi-player brawls...

Look at it this way. You get a free opportunity to screw up any player you'd like, as much as you'd like. Detonate a bob-omb next to someone from the safe distance of all-the-way-the-hell-over-there.

I saw a video of toon Link against Ganondorf on Tetra's ship, and he looked like he actually played fairly well. I'm looking forward to playing as him.

Toon Link is the Young Link of Brawl... which would've been fine if:

A) Better move set (I seriously hate the standard moveset for Link. Bite me.)
B) Different Final Smash

Regardless, I'll use him... BUT I WON'T BE AS SATISFIED icon_frown.gif

I hate Toon Link's FS. I don't think it was even changed slightly from Links, besides the graphic (I think).
At least they were somewhat original with the Landmasters. (Fox's shoots, Falco's hovers, Wolf's spins)

I guess your right, although, it's disappointing how Marth's final smash is so cool and powerful, while Lucario's is just a damage dealer...

On second thought, Marth's final smash would be easy to dodge, and cannot be aimed....

I guess there's more strategy to the game than I thought. Some final smashes can only be used on one person and do almost 1 hit kos, while other final smashes effect everybody but do less damage...


Even with these disappointments, this game's still worth the wait. icon_biggrin.gif

How long has this game been in development anyway?
