Hand built 16x16 life gauge pieces. Jesus Christ, this is a pain. I'm at 3 so far. After initial tile setup, it only took me...45 minutes. Shit, I'm getting too old for this.

Building the area before level 3 along with level 3. About a fourth of the dungeon is done so far. This is the biggest dungeon in the quest yet. Also the area before level 3 has grown to almost half an overworld if not larger. I think this quest is getting rather large which I like.
After that I'm going to polish the first three levels and then make a semi public demo.

Decided to redo some parts of my overworld and also remade Level 1 gonna start woorking on the remaining levels i have left soon.

Currently beta testing one of my other current quest projects (Mash Up Quest). A couple bugs spotted, but I'm going to be sure to squish them all.

I changed level 1 around a bit in Adam's Quest II. I removed a bombable wall close to the start and replaced it with a shutter door. In addition, you actually do have to work your way towards the boss door room to get a key to advance further in the dungeon. I also removed the "Hold Up Item" flags from all of level 1's rooms with keys in them. We don't need both Link to the Past key chime AND Ocarina of Time's "Dun dun dun dun!" fanfare at the same time. Also working on making level 1 as a Minecraft map. Yeah, I'm bored.

I plugged in my old Windows XP which has my quest file on it. It's been almost a year since I opened it up, but it's time to finish this up... It's way overdue. 7/2014, it's coming

i think someitmes i just lay tiles for fun and loose intrest.
i feel dead inside and this is hard.
does anyone want some abandoned maps or 12% done quests? I don't think I even have ambition to make a game like day-day

Ooo, sounds interesting! Can't wait to defeat the boss!I stayed up to ungodly hours of the night doing so, but I scripted a post game boss for ItLKotBBG. That's right, the post game is a thing that IS actually being worked on. He's not fully balanced yet, but it's 3 AM and he's functional, so I'm calling it good for the day.

So, I have now successfully made 20/45 dungeons in my current "Mash Up Quest". It might sound like a lot of dungeons, but the reason is that I'm combining 5 of my old classic-style quests into one huge quest (which isn't actually as big as you'd think).
Levels 1 to 4 for each 'quest' is now completed. Going to be starting to do the Level 5s and 6s for each 'quest' now.
