Jubbz, I made it past the first part of L7 hard mode without too much trouble, but the second part is definitely causing me to tear out what hair I have left. The platforming stuff with the disappearing platforms isn't fun. I did a little of VVV but gave up. I'm finding those parts more frustrating than enjoyable. Everything else has been great though.

Did you also make a save before level 7?

The easy mode of that level is much more enjoyable IMO. And it's only "easy" in the sense that you don't get assaulted with wind and moving platforms, it's just a lot more puzzle based.

Jamian, yes, I made a copy of my game just before L7 so I could see both versions. I have defeated the easy mode of L7 and moved on to L8 in that game. I'd still like to maybe go back and try to finish L7 hard, but, again, these disappearing platforms are not fun for me. It's one of the rare times I wish ZC had save states. To those who finished VVV, I commend you, I haven't given up all hope, but it might be above my pay grade.

Back in November of last year, I had the opportunity to play the hard version of Level 7 before the final release of this game. Here is a link of me playing through the beta version that level.

I'm really enjoying your game Moosh. Right now, I just found level 6. I can see what people mean when they said the difficulty really picks up when you enter the dark world.

In the next couple of weeks, I will make a playthrough of this game.

Well, the platforming stuff is something you have to learn the mechanics of. There's a pattern to the platforms, and IMO, it's not too hard to pick up on. It'll still be frustrating when trying to learn the pattern and dodge wind at the same time... But that's why I try to leave at least one enemy on screen. You never know when getting hit will actually be USEFUL.

And then there's VVV... my god that level was HELLL.

But then I figured out and conjured my own personal strategy for conquering it. In a place like VVV (and level 7 hard mode for that matter), sometimes it's best to keep one enemy on screen, but other times, where platform timing is crucial, kill ALL enemies, and just focus on dodging the wind.

No, Veni Vidi Vici is completely optional. However, you get the gold ring if you beat it, so it's worth the effort, I'd say.

The first half of VVV is the killer part. The 2nd half(you get a halfway warp) is much easier.

Okay, I'm on the level 3 boss, and am stumped. I have tried every item and tactic to fight him, but nothing happens. How do i damage him?

He's pretty tricky, You have to stun him with the boomerang while its on one of the pegs.

The peg has to be down first. And you have to make the orange peg hit him when he is blue and when he orange make the blue peg hit him and so on until its dead.

I started this quest and looks very fun. I completed levels 1 and 2.

I discovered the Ultimate Challenge, but I have more than 3 hearts. Have I to start the game from scratch to complete the dungeon? = ( And if there are more missables dungeons, I'd like to know it... I hate missables in games =(
