I'm glad it worked out! Not as many antics resulting from low sleep than I thought, and not a single dropped frame, so that was nice. Hoping I can stream more often now. Will be putting that stream on YouTube soon.

Heya Satellite, hope you cover ToT in one of your future streams! That would be heavenly! xD

What are you up to next?

Heck if I know right now. Probably nothing too in-depth for the time being honestly, just stick to shorter and more casual things. As for a when, also no clue.

I've figured out the what and possibly the when. Ocarina of Time is the what. "But TS, you've already streamed OoT!" Well, that was the Master Quest version. I've never actually streamed vanilla OoT. "But why? OoT is a boring game to watch because everyone does OoT!" Well, I had another bad idea... I was going to play it with a keyboard. Only a keyboard. Maybe it won't suck as badly as I imagine it might, but I'm gonna do it to completion. Once upon a time I'd tried this, ages ago on an XP computer, before I had a PC controller. Can't remember how far I got, but want to say maybe to the Water Temple?
Regardless, it's been ages, and I've been using a controller for PC games for ages. Also if I had any practice with the keyboard controls in the past, it's long gone now. So let's see if this will be a trainwreck, or at least good entertainment, and stream OoT to completion (not 100%) using only a keyboard. Not sure if I'll do this in one sitting or not, depends on how well I can manage the controls and if I'm up to such a long session.
The when? Possibly Sunday, but unsure yet. I'll have plenty of opportunity the entire week, so it could be whenever.
And that's not all...
An idea I've wanted to do for a while, but has been on hold due to multiple complications including moving and not having the attic at the new house prepared for me to move into yet, but I plan on doing a Megaman marathon of the first seven games. Not 8, because it's junk, not Bass, because it'd be too difficult (especially without having played it enough), and not 9 and 10 because no way to capture those; shame, because I'd love to stream 10. But the first seven Megaman games I'll be playing back-to-back, probably with food/drink breaks somewhere in there. Again, this will be sometime next week, dunno when yet. That one should be fun, and possibly quite long, and possibly may kill me. Probably not. And yes, I will be playing 2 on its original difficulty, and no, I refuse to play Megaman 1 without the select glitch. ![]()
So I'll keep you guys posted!

7PM EST, in about an hour, the first keyboard-only OoT stream will start. How far will I get? Well, realistically I'd like to be able to say I'd like to beat the child dungeons in one stream... but we'll see how the controls feel about that.

Well that was fun, made it through the Forest Temple. I stopped inside the Fire Temple's entrance, and will finish the rest off hopefully in one session. When? Thinking tomorrow, probably. Also debating whether or not I should do the Biggoron Sword sidequest for kicks. Will keep you guys posted!

I'm probably not gonna do ToT... or ZC in general honestly. Streaming ZC quests has sort of lost its appeal to me, I dunno, maybe it'll come back.
Anyway, no stream tonight, weather's too good and I'm taking advantage of it. Perhaps tomorrow!

Ok in that case, try some of these games:
Goldeneye 007 (N64)
Kirby Superstar (SNES)
Metroid 2 (GB)
Megaman 8 (NES version) like you did with MM7 in that past stream
Plants VS Zombies
Road Rash (Sega Genesis)
Those would be fun to see you try. :3

Goldeneye 007 (N64) - Idea has merit. Never actually beat the game, so that could be something.
Kirby Superstar (SNES) - Have I streamed this before? If not, I've certainly LP'd it, and also I've played it to death, so like OoT I'd need some kind of gimmick for it.
Metroid 2 (GB) - Thought this said Megaman 2, which I could have done, maybe, it's decent besides poor sound quality. Metroid 2? I only beat it once and remember liking it, but that was ages ago, so this also has merit.
Megaman 8 (NES version) - I tried this. I'm never touching 8 ever again. I will give the original version one last fair shot eventually, but otherwise, Megaman 8, even in 8-bit form, is just awful.
Plants VS Zombies - I don't own this. I know it's cheap, but I haven't seen enough about it to know if I'd be into it.
Road Rash (Sega Genesis) - There was a Genesis version?! Well, I may have to try that.
Thanks for the suggestions!

I can think of a few games that deserve more attention then they get.
"Distorted Travesty"
Requires more buttons than can be mapped to a 360 controller, but the default keyboard layout is actually surprisingly comfortable and intuitive. It's like Mega Man, where it's incredibly challenging but usually fair, where you can see where it was your fault for screwing up. The combat focuses on a Cripple system, where each enemy and boss requires being hit a specific way to break their defenses. Common enemies usually only require a single specific attack, while the more difficult bosses need almost a Street Fighter-style combo to make them vulnerable. It's a ton of fun, but I've only ever seen two people record the game since it's come out.
"Eggman Hates Furries"
An older Game Maker fangame. Imagine if Evan or Moosh were to design a Sonic game, go completely balls-to-the-wall insane on boss fights, then completely lose interest before making any actual levels. It still manages to string together a really fun, albeit bare-bones plot while there's just barely enough actual level to proceed from set-piece to set-piece. Just a heads up, though. Once you beat the game, the designer's immature humor kicks in. The "O" in his name is replaced with a Sonic/Tails 69 (although it takes a bit to notice the change) and Tails kisses Sonic in the ending. I had to tell my little brother that the designer thought that Tails was a girl. Still, the rest of the game more than makes up for it. Especially the beyond-epic final boss!

So I heard you like Megaman games. You should definitely try out the battle network series. It's probably the best thing that has ever come out of Megaman IMO.
Or you could play one of my new quests. ![]()
