Let's see...video game achievements.

At one time I could beat SMB for NES and then breeze right through the "second quest" all in about 15 minutes...

My best friend Blake and I are masters at the N64 Super Smash Bros, and about 3 years ago we decided to enter a Melee tourament at a local video game shop (figuring if we were awesome at the original we could do the same with Melee)...we ended up not winning a single match and forfeiting. icon_lol.gif So I guess that's somewhat of an achievement.

Hmm...I caught Zapdos on my pokemon blue version using a measley ultra ball...I finally got him down to about 3 hp and I only had Mr. Mime left and he could only use one Metranome technique. I gambled and...Mr. Mime used spore! I threw the ball (while holding down + b for good luck) and bingo!

When I was about 7 or 8, I was playing Link's Awakening and got to the part in Bottle Grotto where you have to weigh yourself down with a jar to make the stone slab move..well, I just stood there for a couple of minutes and the slab started moving without me carrying a jar! I'm almost 99% positive that this happened...I'm 20 now so it might just all be in my imagination.

Speaking of Link's Awakening, it took me 6 years to complete it. It was my very first video game. That's an achievement right there.

And...I made it through The Suffering while only wetting myself once. Maybe twice.

I beat all the Megaman 2 Robot Masters.

...At the same time.

Video is not me playing, and no I didn't make the game. icon_razz.gif
You can download it here.

You can unlock E cans and some other options (game speed, amount of post-damage invincibility bosses get, and one other thing I haven't figured out the identity of) by killing enough bosses, apparently.
Or you can just unlock everything right off the bat by punching in the Konami Code at the title screen. icon_razz.gif

Also, try the left gate when you start out, instead of the right. You'll be able to fight the bosses underwater, with spikes on the ceiling (lol Bubbleman). Things are a bit different with the gravity change...icon_razz.gif

Hmm my greatest achievement is... Beating the black rabite in SD3 with Gladiator Duran, God Hand Kevin and Hack(can't remember his final job with dark>dark).

Im happy with the fact that ive collected all the rings in both oracle games.

And my other which im very proud of is Destroying metroid fusion and zero mission in 0:45 for fusion and 0:35 for zero mission both with i belive was close to 100%.

Im also proud of myself for beating Metroid II the return of samus in 1:30. I hate Zeta metroids.

OH! i almost forgot about beating the living daylights out of sephiroth in KH:2 on proud mode.

Well, I got this a long time ago, but I'll post it anyways.

In Super Mario World, I have 100% completion. All goalposts found. Max amount of points and 999 lives. Five gold stars above the game (it's the GBA version).

I'm back again, because I just completed what is possibly the most difficult task I've ever attempted in video games: I beat all twenty-six staff ghosts in F-Zero GX without snaking. I got a snapshot of my records for Twist Road, the track with arguably the most difficult staff ghost:

IPB Image

Disregard the max speed, best lap time, and the fact that it only shows second place down. I was demoing snaking for another person and forgot that I couldn't escape entering my name, so the stats from that run embarrassingly ended up on top. >_< The fact of the matter is that my best non-snaking time is still better than the staff ghost's, and that's all that matters. For the last four years I was under the impression that defeating all the staff ghosts would unlock the "Sounds of Mute City" music, but I was actually proven wrong: I got nothing for my efforts. icon_shrug.gif Oh well. I unlocked the Mute City music through the code just now to reward myself anyway.

Now I will take a step back and try to comprehend all the time I've wasted trying to make this happen... icon_eek.gif

I've done a 2cc (2-credit-completion) Dual Play run on DoDonPachi. (I'm assuming everyone knows what that means.)

I've repeatedly scored over 100 points in NHL '94 (SNES console). I consider myself a formidable opponent in Command & Conquer Red Alert (most variations) and Duke Nuke'm 3D (PC) and Street Fighter II Turbo (SNES) and NHL '94 (SNES). I've never played online versus others, save intranet chains for C&C and DN.

Another Metroid achievement: I beat Metroid II in 2 hours and fifty-six minutes. It's definitely my favorite Metroid game.

Exact same thing with me! Although I made the achievement a few years ago... And I only have 958 lives now because I let a friend play. icon_razz.gif

Beat Golden Sun. Fusion Dragon wasn't that hard as long as you just keep healing using the Wish spells you have at the time, and manage to revive your downed characters.
(I even managed to kill it off with a summon. Seeing as it was Meteor, that's just a supplement).

I don't know why I never mentioned this, but I've beaten both Game A and Game B of Duck Hunt with all perfects. I've also gotten to round 153 of Game C before I missed a clay disc.
