Also, I don't really like the wording you use. You say it's a show for girls, but it's not. It's a show aimed at girls, but it's a show for whoever likes it. Just because it's target demographics is little girls doesn't mean no-one else can like it.

I though with My Little Pony
Its a Show for Girls, and I'm a Guy So There
Well in that case...you should let me have your VHS of Rescue at Midnight Castle.
Seriously.
Oh also, no offense but your reasons for leaving are some of the dumbest bulls*** I've ever heard. Particularly the quoted selection. I think less of you now for what you've said.

And here we have the return of the closed-minded offensive user, linktopower who used to come to these forums. We all thought him gone, and we thought the kind, open-minded Ventus had replaced him for good, but it seems that it was just a phase, and that at the heart of this user lies someone who is truly closed-minded and spiteful.

And on that note, following TS's precedent, I feel obligated to post reviews of the few other episodes I saw too. I think I will, later.

@ Russ, I couldn't care less if he stops liking the show, but his post wounded me, deeply. Saying "no offense" doesn't automatically make it not offensive. Basically, what I heard was "This show is not for my demographic and therefore I shouldn't like it and it would be stupid of me to keep watching it but OH you people who are in the exact same demographic as me are free to continue watching this bulls***".
@ TS, yeah, I might have to step out for a moment.

I approve of your post in every way possible. While I don't agree with your thoughts on the show I do think you're a perfect example of how it should be done. AKA: Giving something a try and then deciding on if it's good or not. I can certainly see why this show would not be for everyone, in fact, I know it's not for everyone.
The plot in the series is very shallow so people watching shows for a good plot really do need to look else where. What the show really offers is some very nice characters (Design wise, whether you like them or not is irrelevant) as well as charm and good animation.
Hey everyone what's happening in this threa--

^ Fixed with pony version! :3
Also, people should really not feel any need to recent Ventus in any way, it was bound to happen eventually for many. While the core brony community is full of dedicated fans, for quite many though, ponies is just a fad, and it will go away for them just like everything else. Though, I do admit that the post was rather pointless.

Gargoyles is the new My Little Pony.
But anyway, I don't care about what isn't an instant hit for me. I really value the style of humor, the "adorable" factor, and the actual apparent reality that it is reinforcing my waning, often lackluster necessities for this thing called "friendship" that is far too cliche as it is.
Mostly it reminds me of Azumanga Daioh in the tiniest, unimportant way.
