one bomb is all it takes, you have to get it precisely where its roots meet the plant.

I got back to where I was(Level 2), and I actully fought the boss before I got the boss key. However, I still am wandering about, trying to find the wand, and I the key for it, so it seems it should be in an ovious place, so, since I have slow internet connectoin, I can't see the Youtube page and thus, I don't know where the wand is. Please give me details on how to find it! (at the vaguest, at least tell me which side it is on!

Oh, the wand is on the side you start on. Have you been into that little dark room before? The wand is beyond the door. But you'll need a key to open a chest and you need to fight some wizrobes.

Thanks. Now I finished that level so now I am in the 3rd level, and I can't find a key, a ladder, or anything else. I did get more than a few 50 and 20 arrow rewards, so now I have 500 arrows. And, I've found the 3rd and 4th triforce dungeons before the 2nd. Along with that, I got to the dream world place, and I have no idea what I'm suposed to do. I still need the frost mail, but I think I'll see how far I can get into level 3 before I get that (uh oh, bad idea...) .

Well, I beat level three without the blue mail. Just so you know:

Blue Mail: In a temple on top of the mountain.
Candle: In the forest west of the village.
Boomerang: In a cave near the top of the mountain.

The candle is required to get the boomerang, and the boomerang is required to beat level three.

(Epic boss in that svblard temple) Okay, I got the blue mail ( Mythril? I thought it was blizzard...), the candle, and the wand, along with 9 3/4 hearts. Now, I remeber that the castle had a throne with a fire on one torch , and the other doesn't have a fire in it. Does this mark it as special or something?

You can get some arrows by lighting the other one. Now go find the boomerang in the Horgus Mountain cave system.

And I think the dragon boss is the best boss of the game. It's so epic and awesome.

Okay, so now looking back on Lost Isle months after its release. Does everyone feel its gotten better with time or worse? Is it truly a better game when played on subsequent playthroughs? Do you appreciate it better or notice more things each time? Or is one time through enough for you? Almost a year after its release, how does it fare for you as a quest?

I still love it. I must say, it exceeded my expectations. And they were high, because when I joined, everybody was talking this quest called Lost Isle, which was supposed to be the biggest thing ever to appear in ZC. And I also remembered Peteo getting very mad at _L_ when _L_ said he was changing the enemy editor and all custom enemies would need to be redone. icon_smile.gif

Indeed! It is quite amazing why some people play Lost Isle with a wrong version of ZC even though it has been clearly stated that LI only works on the Lost Isle build of ZC. icon_sweat.gif

What's even more amazing is when people use the Lost Isle build to play other quests. Half of the problems people encounter with quests is when they play them with the LI build, assuming that it's perfectly stable, and not realizing it's only meant for LI and Origin.

I haven't gotten too far in this quest... mostly because I'm not such a skilled gamer... but also because I haven't had time... but I must say, I LOVE the feeling it gives you,as the player... the atmosphere is absolute epic...
And it looks like other people think so too...
Hey, to my knowledge, LI is THE most discussed quest EVER... Great work as always DFW... but now... after all this... can you peak it? I mean, can you make something BETTER than the perfect? Yes, I think you can icon_razz.gif
But please... make an easier quest next time, will ya? icon_razz.gif

We'll see Amigo.

As for the LI build, I've actually been playing lots of other quests with it, for the most part, it is backwards compatible with many past released quests and I haven't found any real problems playing them with it. (however Like Likes do permenantly steal your small shield if eaten, so that's something to watch out for in older quests which don't have the Like Like rule.) But beyond that, its a very stable build, just don't play any quests made with anything past beta 254 or you'll be in trouble.
