Did beat Baal finally, that sure took long enough... Though I didn't know there is another for you can fight which is Prinny Baal...

My god now that is one prinny I would not want to meet in a dark alleyway.

With my newly built gaming/editing PC, I started playing the PC Version of Borderlands 2 on max settings. HOLY CRAP! PC Master Race indeed when you match this up with the console version of this game. It's a completely different and more enjoyable experience on the PC. And lately, I've been so addicted to Scribblenauts Unlimited for PC as well.

You'll start noticing that playing some games on PC is 100% better then playing them on console.

That's why when I play some FPS games its only on PC, and not a console.

It feels much better to have a computer that can do the same as a console but better doesn't It? ;)

I've been playing Psychonauts recently. I don't know how much LSD was involved in the making of this game, but dang it's fun. And quirky. The godzilla-like sequence in the lungfish's brain was especially fun (and funny).

You ever go and start counting how many games you have on your backlog of things to play, and realize that, not counting games on an actual console (PC and emulators only, not including games downloaded only to study the tile art or design. i.e. bootleg/pirated games), you have a backlog containing a staggering 79 games to finish? (Oh yeah, also not including games that my laptop isn't good enough to actually run)

No?

Then I guess I'm the only one. I figured I'd make it slightly easier on myself and decided to count watching a Let's Play as enough to clear a game from the list, but even so, that's a huge number of games to tackle. I'm starting my attack plan by finally finishing up Final Fantasy Adventure. (Every time I've tried to play it, something goes horribly wrong and makes me have to start over, whether it be getting caught in an unwinnable situation or something goes wrong with the save state, save file, both, or the emulator itself. I'm keeping three separate backups this time of my save file, just to make sure) Once I finish this, I've got a map so I can have a pre-planned route ready for Metroid II, and then I'll see what to go after from there.

Did you notice the abysmally low frame rate the intro video runs at when starting a new game in Borderlands 2 on PC? I mean comparatively to the 60FPS gameplay footage that immediatly follows it. It really wouldn't have hurt them to just re-render the cutscene at 60FPS as HDD space isn't really something to be conerned about with PC's and 60FPS full HD videos will play perfectly fine even on ancient hardware.

And they could simply exclude it on the game disc if it was too large and have it download instead as part of the install process since the game uses Steam.

I did notice that. When I saw that, I was thinking..."Oh crap, my GPU is not strong enough to handle this game." A clever way to trick the player into thinking that this game will not run well.

And from my PC gaming experience, even on Medium settings, the PC versions of the 360 games I traded in still destroy the console versions. I'm thinking the console versions of PC games are equivalent to games running on low settings with poor frame rates.

Well yeah, the current generation PS3/Xbox 360 run on abysmal hardware now.

I can't wait to play The Last of Us tomorrow. That looks to be such an epic survival game.

Also, I got the Witcher 2 Enhanced Edition on Steam for $6.80. Better than Skyrim? I'll get Skyrim eventually when it's cheap (where are you Steam sale?) People have been telling me that this game is a great alternative to Skyrim.

I'm playing The Last of Us right now on PS3. I'm going to be honest with you. I think it's a bit overrated so far. The gameplay is pretty shallow to be honest. A lot of stealth gameplay that requires you to think ahead. If there was one strong point from what I have played, it's the plot and production value. This is one of the best looking games on the PS3. I'll give it more time. I've been hearing that the game has a very slow start.

I've been meaning to get Last of Us. I've been in love with Left 4 Dead (a zombie game) recently and Jak and Daxter (a Naughty Dag franchise) is one of my favorite series (possibly the favorite), so a zombie game by Naughty Dog sounds pretty much perfect. But, I guess I'll wait to hear some reviews before I shell out 60 dollars for it.

In other news, I beat Psychonauts. That was one of the wackiest, most ingenious games I've ever played. Definitely something I'd recommend to everyone.

Finally got around to beating Disgaea 4, with the help of Evan. XD There's still plenty to do (mostly post game) so I'll be occupied a wee bit more with this game. I'm partly considering getting the DLC for it, though I'm not 100% sure. :S

I've also been playing Zone of the Enders again, trying to get the platinum trophy. (I'm about 50% of the way there)

Aaand I've also been playing Fire Emblem Awakening still. Working on doing the last of the paralogues, then the DLC maps. (I'm missing one pack, but I've done most of the other ones)

I'm on the last world of Donkey Kong Country Returns. I like it a lot, but there's one distinct thing that I realize very clearly at this point:

Rocket barrel levels are awful.

Especially in multiplayer (As are the levels where all players share the same minecart).

I've been playing Psychonauts(I got a free steam code from Skipper!!!!!!!!!!) lately and the game is freaking awesome :). I just beat it yesterday, but there are still more things I can collect and do.

The game is(literally :)) insane.

I've not been playing much of anything lately, I did pick up Street Fighter X Tekken. Man I haven't played a street fighter since the Street Fighter 2. :|

And also I have started up Radiata Stories, But I haven't play that far into it so far.

Just got the point where you get kicked out of the knights.

Radiata Stories looks convincing but after looking at the gameplay, the game looks like garbage. :(

I got a little further into the Last of Us. The gameplay got a little better. The stealth gameplay is not a walk in the park by any means. I just realized the various zombies that could kill you in one hit as opposed to Zombies that you can take down in one blow with a headshot.
