Which was not even nothing to do with the show's story!

I will say This as-well I was not making excuses, I really have a hard time remembering Crap

Yes, s*** does happen. But if it's over something that can be avoided like remembering to place spoiler tags, it really irks people.

Perhaps you don't get it. It pisses us off that people just come inhere and talk about the new episode, or maybe, Princess Luna's new look.

@Ventus: Yes, you talked about the new intro BUT YOU POSTED AN IMAGE OF LUNA'S NEW LOOK, too.
That's a spoiler. People like GK wanted to be surprised when they saw Luna's new look, but here you are posting it for everyone to see, and it bugs people who haven't seen the episode(s) yet.

I would just like to clearify that this is about the pre-airing of the episodes I am talking about. Hasbro has made it a habit of releasing teasers, and it should be quite clear that there are people that don't want to see them.

And looking over the replies my last post gave me, it seems the general thought seem to be: "Well if you don't like spoilers then stay the F*** away" in which I will only reply: good riddance.

I'm here to try and take part in the community and talk about the show I like, but if that ruins my experience with said show and people here don't care about it, well, I'm out. I'm not here to force people to change who they are.

^ See, this is a problem though Ventus. You're saying that the spoilers don't ruin it for anyone. The problem with that statment is that you assume that everyone is like you and don't mind it. The problem here is that everypony is different, and you gotta respect that.

FYI: I hightailed out of the topic. I opened it for the first time in quite some days, and that was the first post I saw. I would not want to risk reading anymore spoilers, which is why I decided to wait until after the episode aired to talk about it. It's not that it did not bug me before, it's just that I did not have a chance to post about it.

To everypony else: Please stop harassing Ventus, there is a difference between telling someone off to talk things over and to be down right mean about your views. :/

Oh look, the pony fans are whining like babies again. <-- Was this statement harsh? Maybe. But what the hell? You guys are getting bent out of shape. Over spoilers. For a f***ing cartoon. Sure, maybe the spoilers posted should have been hidden, but I didn't see what was leaked, nor do I care to. Because you should all stop acting like the little girls the show was aimed at and grow up and get over it and leave each other alone. If the spoilers are still visible, then I would ask whoever posted them to go and hide them for courtesy's sake. And the rest of you? Get over it. Are spoilers annoying? Yes. Do they ruin your life? No. Neither will "ruining your viewing experience."

Now I know you'll say "Oh but TS, what if someone threw spoilers for Sonic Generations or Skyward Sword right in your face?" Will I be pissed? Yes. Will I rage and grumble and carry on a pretty freaking stupid argument with the person who posted the spoilers? No. You take risks when you're on the internet. PureZC is probably one of the most tame places you'll ever be; be thankful for that instead of whiny children.

It's a TV show. It's not the end of the world, and if you really have nothing better to do than moan and whine about someone posting some picture of a character design— Wait, you're getting upset because someone just posted a pic of a character's updated design? What the hell? Has PureZC really reached a new low?!

My God, people, grow up and spare your irritation for things that, I dunno, actually matter?

That way we're free to discuss speculation over previews and stuff without upsetting people.

I judge (and respect) people based on their posts. And everything I saw in that post only seamed to be aimed at telling everyone was stupid rather then trying to calm down the situation. Feel free to tell me otherwise if you see it fit, but I doubt TS would need anyone to step up and defend his case, after all, he is an admin here.

In a perfect world, someone would be on the staff because they have the personality to handle a situation in the proper way that would make the greatest number of people happy without upsetting any delicate social ecosystem. Alas, such a way of life is not yet the way of things, so we have to resort to the "put up or shut up" method sometimes. If that's the way it has to be for any particular case, it might put out a fire, but it doesn't stop the fuse from growing short.

But speaking as a person who greatly enjoys the series, as well as the discussion, and not as a staff type person, I do rather enjoy the metaphysics of this particular notion.

Eh, it was a self-contained post. Pretty much the whole post has been said before, and it doesn't appear to have done anything, because it doesn't actually touch people the way it wants to. It's just words, relative to our own innate desires for the show that is loved.

Perhaps there ought to be some sort of rule set forth that everyone can agree on? I would rather see this arbitrated and then moderated than get out of hand. Yes, it's so much easier to just say "get the hell over it" but honestly I'm sure absolutely nobody actually wants to be that kind of an arse to anyone.

Any suggestions? Is continuing as people are, doing any good right now? If not, then suggestions would be in order.

Of course, that's not to say that people can't find solutions for themselves that don't interfere with anyone else. Anyone is free to do so on their own.

Personally I don't mind either way if we establish spoiler free (or tag) zone or not.

But if we are taking votes then yes, I'd like this to be spoiler free.
