Got my friend to get Dust: An Elysian Tail on steam, and I grabbed me a copy of it :P

And wow!, this is the most beautiful game I've ever seen O_O.

And the controls are amazing, everything just works. this is one hell of a game.

Ah Disgaea 2, I hate the geo panel puzzles in that game, they feel so out of place compared to the kinds of puzzles you faced in the first game. The Geo panel puzzles also significantly restrict how you approach completing your goal. Geo Panel puzles that feature impassable zones are also encountered much earlier in the game then in Disgaea 1's main story.

And yeah I find the voice acting for everyone in the game to be abysmal sounding.

God don't remind, I hate the geo panel puzzles... I'm in the Shinra Tower (I thinks that's how it spelled?).

And I'm hating every second of it!, it really makes every thing really annoying.

And don't get me started on the voice acting... Its awful... I rather have them all be quiet.

And god I hate Yukimaru her voice is just to annoying, zam.

Well Taking a massive break from the second disgeae. Back to playing the first one, on my second play-through and I just made to episode 12.

That didn't take long, :P anyways I've been trying to get Cave of ordeals unlocked... man I'm not having any luck.

They just won't pass the bill, and I've tried by force, but I keep on getting killed. <.<

Most stuff at this point, I found, are just easier to force through rather than pass normally. There's a few tricks to it.

The first is to convince the highest level senators to vote for you. If they do and you lose, challenge the assembly and start throwing all the opposing senators into the higher level senators that voted for you. The higher level character 'wins out' and it'll still be in favour. Once you've eliminated all the opposing senators this way, you'll pass the bill.

If you simply want to over-power them, the first map of the final chapter is a really good map for grinding before unlocking and being able to consistently beat Cave of Ordeals 3. (The 2nd best map for grinding. There is one better, but I find it tedious, so I stick to this one) With a level 300 statistician in an item, you'll be gaining levels fairly quickly.

Also, I beat Mega Man X today. O: I've been kinda wanting to go back and play Etrian Odyssey IV again, but I'd like to at least finish Fire Emblem up first. (Preferably though, I'd like to start on something I haven't beat yet afterword. X3)

I'm hooked to the Oracle games on 3DS Virtual Console. Playing through Oracle of Ages first and then continue in Oracle of Seasons. Damn that Level 2 boss in Ages. He could be the hardest boss or the easiest boss in the game. It's all about timing an dodging fireballs.

The two other games I'm playing are Infamous and Bioshock Infinite on PS3. Still loving Infamous. I could understand where Migokalle is coming from when he said this is the best game on the system. And I guess it's the charm that I'm hooked into Bioshock Infinite. The story has been crazy so far. Elizabeth is an awesome sidekick.

I will start my Pandora's Tower livestream once I build my computer which is this week or next week.

Regarding the Senators in Disgaea, I found that the price of the bribe you offer them doesn't matter at all, so you can come in with an inventory full of the cheapest item the store will sell (Faerie Dust for an average 50 HL each), start with the highest level Senator that doesn't have the max amount for how much they love you, and give him everything that ranges from "Interested" to "Must Have!". After a bit, all that cheap crap will get you to where you can get just about anything you want passed and you won't have to worry about fighting. (I took the time to bribe Senators for the cheaper bills earlier in the game, and I didn't want to throw that work away with fighting over the later bills)

With what I'm playing now, I finished Symphony of the Night as much as I could figure out. (No idea how to get Richter up to Dracula's chamber in the first castle, but I beat it as Alucard so I'm counting it as finished) I found out that I forgot about Castlevania Bloodlines for the Genesis/Mega Drive, so I grabbed that one and started on it. Still working on it, I just got to Germany. Not sure how I feel about a Castlevania game that doesn't take place in Castlevania, though. Still not sure about whether I should be nervous on starting Castlevania 64 next. I've heard nothing but bad things about that game.

I downloaded this new emulator for my DS. It's called GameYob and it's for playing Game Boy and Game Boy Color games. I set it up to try out a colored version of Super Mario Land (my childhood favorite GB game) and a colored Metroid II (never played it before), as well as that Hard Awakening hack I mentioned in the other thread. I've also decided to try again to beat Final Fantasy Adventure, since I've had bad luck come up every time I've tried playing that game before and have never been able to finish it. I don't know why, but I seem to like these older retro games much more than a lot of the more modern ones.

This is why I consider him to be the worst boss in Ages, closely followed by the Level 5 boss. He's just tedious to fight, especially when it comes to timing your throws. His attacks are not difficult to dodge, you just have to figure out where you will be safe when he makes each attack as a response.

Spoiler

Speaking of OoA on the EShop, I have been playing it and am up to Crescent Island. Up to getting the seed satchel back from the Tokay. My favorite part in OoA so far.

I believe it's based on the item rarity. This doesn't mean that rare items are must haves, but senators have a preferred rarity. The closer to that, the better. If I'm recalling correctly anyway. >_>

Yep I can confirm its based on the rarity of the item.

So if you want to bribe well make sure to use an item that has a lower rarity number like around 40 or so.

And also have gotten my 300 statisticians finally, and now I'm leveling like crazy, Laharl is at level 303 now xD.

Working on getting the rest of the team around 300 as well.

I'm am going to just persuade by force on the cave of ordeals, because I'm not having any luck bribing them.

EDIT, Just been leveling since last night and all day, and I've gotten my team to level 500.

And I aslo got Cave of ordeals unlocked and boy its pretty rough, I can't really think of which part I'm on.

But its one with a level 700 dragon <.< god that dragon is freaking hard.

Well an update on my progress, I've spent plenty of time leveling at CoO3 with the stronger enemies bill.

And I've gotten a few (3) of my team members around Level 3200.

And I've got Mysterious Seal and the Alternate Netherworld unlocked and completed.

Also finished the Human World, and got the take over earth ending.

But Now I have another place to go... Baal Castle. Made it to Baal, but he killed my team in a matter of 2 turns...

My god, this is completely insane.  :|

...

...

I need to take a break for awhile...

Ventus, don't forget to Transmigrate your characters every so often. There's various guides on how to optimize the process and I'm not fully familiar with it but it will buff your characters base stats,, how much there stats increase each level, reduce them to level 1 but allow them to level up faster, essentially >.>"

I know, I've been transmigrating as much as I can, it all takes time.

Tonight I'll transmigrate my whole team over and level them up again and get better base stats that should do something for sure. :P

I picked Animal Crossing: Wild World up out of the closet and played for about a week before purchasing New Leaf, today. It's pretty awesome. :)

With my newly built gaming/editing PC, I started playing the PC Version of Borderlands 2 on max settings. HOLY CRAP! PC Master Race indeed when you match this up with the console version of this game. It's a completely different and more enjoyable experience on the PC. And lately, I've been so addicted to Scribblenauts Unlimited for PC as well.
