Finally got the basic AI of my Rope enemy down. At the moment, the Rope only charges if it can see the player and stops if it runs into an unwalkable object.  It also retreats after being hit and it hitting the player. There are a few kinks I have to work out, like making it not charge at the player if he is facing it. Then I also have to get it to be able to actively flank the player. Fun stuff.

Finally got my Level 4 in my quest completed. I'm now starting to make the area for Level 5 and then Level 5 itself.

Over the past few days, I've pretty much laid out the entire central overworld in my current project, which is a HUGE accomplishment, as overworlds are something I've always had trouble with. I also dreamed of many ideas that I plan on implementing in my quest when I get there. I've downloaded lots of midis for future provinces, (so I'm motivated to get to those provinces so I can use the selected midis) and nearly completed my rendition of Kakariko village. 

 

After I'm done with Kakariko, I plan on starting the province that holds the first dungeon. Progress is being made, babes. Keiichi Tree is back on the quest-making market!!

Made something. It was pretty much pointless (and a waste of time) to make at the moment though. Made in Zquest tile editor, of course.

 

I guess it can fit with this quest:

Doing what you enjoy doing is rarely pointless. And it looks really nice so there. :P

I forgot. I worked on a cave for my quest today. I think it turned out pretty well.

Dang, you work too quickly. Yesterday you said you still had to make the area for the dungeon. It takes me like a month to make a dungeon, xD. Keep up the work! :D

I got plenty of free time, although you know, it did take me all day to get my area done and besides, it's kinda small :P

Made a cutscene. The design for ??? isn't final, and if you have a good eye, you'll notice something with its current design.

I immediately spotted it's resemblance to something. To me, that looks like a Sheikah symbol.

 

Anyway, I'm getting close to finishing off my Level 5. I literally have about 3-4 screens left in the dungeon and after that, I'm going to make Level 9's area which actually is the home for Level 6's area too (all will make sense when the quest is completed :P)
