I also hope they also un-nerf Ness, since he is now most likely an unlockable.
I can almost bet that at least one out of Knuckles, Tails, and Dr Robotnik (Eggman) will make it into Brawl. Shadow would just be an alternate costume for Sonic.

Marth & Roy? Not as likely, with Ike in. There's peobably gonna be another FE character, but odds are not one of them.
Capt. Falcon should make it. He's also in both games so far, and Red Alloy looks a lot like him and even uses his stance (as Exate pointed out).

After look at this GT vid, there appear to be 44 Characters in Brawl.
For FE, only Marth returns and you can play as Micciah from Radiant Dawn.
WW Link and Midna? That's pretty cool.

That doesn't seem real. The new Fire Emblem faces are from old games.
I'm excited to play now that I can try out some NES games, such as Kid Icarus.

Also, Toon Link and Ganondorf are art from older games; they're not even 3D like the rest of the faces.

At this point, I'm thinking to myself, What doesn't this game have?. At Super Smash Bros. Club in school, we keep salivating at the thought of having a new addition to the series in our hands in a mere forty-three days... How many characters? How many extras? How long? How varied? How much fun?
I can't keep from hyping myself.
I share that same feeling, though not in a particular group in real life (my friends are mostly 360 and PS3 fans). Brawl is unfolding to be a pretty big game. Right now, we are seeing this:
-Fighting game
-Platformer
-Side-scrolling
-Adventure
-Shooter (if you count the trophy feature)
-Arcade (Stadium mode)
-any genre not listed that the Masterpieces contain
That's pretty darn big. I often think of how many characters, stages, features, etc. Sakurai is not yet showing us.

Looks like Luigi isn't a separate character from Mario, but instead an alternate costume. That makes me sad. Luigi has always been underrated and underappreciated. Plus there were 2 major differences in their movesets.

Bad news guys. I was watching some demo Vids of Brawl and I caught this:

Can you show us the video you took the pic from?
I sure hope that didn't happen. Luigi's trying so hard to get noticed, and Nintendo just demotes him to Mario clone? That's just too low to believe. If it's true, it's back to Square One for poor Luigi.

You can't tell much from a screen that blurry.
And you're forgetting something. Mario always has had a green/orange outfit. Plus, there has been no talk of Luigi not bieng in this game or being in it, so that's hardly believable. I mean, it's Luigi. Not Falco or Ganondorf. Luigi. He'll be in.
Anyway, an interesting update on Brawlcentral.com:
I've been getting a load of emails about two things pertaining to Gamestop:
1) Tournaments starting March 9th.
2) Brawl Demos arriving soon.
As far as I know, the whole tournament thing is unconfirmed. Some people say they've heard about it, but others and employees say no. It seems that it might just be something going on with certain Gamestops, so just find out from your local store.
AnusNinja of SWF, who works at Gamestop, claims that his store may be getting Brawl demos in as early as next week. I called my Gamestop and all they said was they tend to have demos a few weeks before the game is released. I asked if two weeks from now sounds about right and they said most likely. So it looks like we may be getting our hands on Brawl demos a little earlier than we thought.
Thing is, this "tournament" was mentioned at a Gamestop that held a Pokemon Tourney last year. They said the prize was going to be Brawl -- something along that -- and I thought it'd concern Melee. They also said it was going to be held in the middle of the mall. So, hrm... BRAWL tournament or Melee?
Well, if there aren't buyable demos... then, no thanks. Not goin'. Playable, at least? Probably still won't go, as shocking as that may sound.

Y'know, I think I just realized a couple things that'll bust the 35-man roster. First of all, we know how you can only get trophies of SSE enemies by weakening them and throwing trophy bases at them to turn them into trophies. And we know that the Ancient Minister has a personal guard that's a few R.O.B.'s. Which means chances are you'll have to fight them eventually. And the Dojo says you can even turn bosses into trophies. So, tell me, how can you have a R.O.B. enemy trophy and still have the regular Smash trophies for a playable R.O.B.?
And there's more. Toon/Cel/WW Link has a trophy. We know that from a trailer. He's in the clothes that he wears in the game before he finds the Hero's Clothes. Now I know someone could say that it's an alternate costume, but he doesn't have any equipment. Not even a shield. Now why would they put this in and still have other Smash trophies?
I realized this a couple days ago. If someone on GameFAQs posts something like this, we just thought of the same thing.

In the aforementioned trailer, during the scene with the character selection, a question mark slides across the screen. This could indicate that they are guessing what it looks like, or an event has been unlocked. I'm thinking that they just didn't know what the selection screen looked like, although I wonder why they would have to do that considering they are playing the Japanese demo of the game, considering you are probably able to choose your players...
I don't know, really. I just felt like posting because I haven't in a while, and I like to look at my avatar under my name. It is pretty cool, you must agree.
