Well, I've come to a difficult point in my life right now. I'll be turning 25 at the end of the month, and here I am jobless with skills nobody around here has use for except for my muscle and reach. Additionally, I'm wondering if getting deep into technology isn't my real forte, but actually something more towards art and creative works. So I'm in the middle regarding three things:
1. Move to Washington: I don't know why, but the Puget Sound region is sounding really good right now for somewhere to move. Although all of my money will probably be gone if I do move, I'll be closer to a industry I love and a culture that is much more progressive. Sorry Indiana, maybe I'll come back to live here again, but when I do, it's because I brought a good dose of what you really need with me...
Or...
2. Become self-employed: Probably the very least likely of my decisions that will go through. I really don't like the stuffiness, standards, and required knowledge and experience just for a career job these days. Before you know it, there's so much of it that you're doing more with keeping in standards and expanding your knowledge base that you're not actually able to do the job regularly. the solution? Become self-employed! I mean, yeah, taxes will he harrowing to figure out, but then you've got a greater degree of freedom to decide what you're doing. Like I said, this probably not the likely decision that's going to happen.
Or...
3. Start a Patreon: This one I don't have to explain why to everyone, right? You've seen my work here in Developer's Exchange, so I guess why not open up for donations? I probably could do something monthly for donators, but not daily since I take my time.
