Well, it seems our car is coming to Vila Real (the area I'm in) on Thursday, and then will be fixed hopefully sometime next week. But my dad needs 4 days off to pick us up again, and the only available days are 21st, 22nd, 23rd and 24th August (which is far too long). I'm hoping he can shift his days to an earlier date when the car is fixed or else when the car is fixed, I'm gonna try and make sure we drive home without my dad coming to pick us up (I know the whole route from here to London, so it isn't too bad).

On a lighter note, I at least have this laptop to keep me busy.

'Available days'. Yeah, this isn't a family emergency or anything. Nice company your dad works for. Do they fund terrorism too?

My dad's boss is a bit of a dick that way >_>

I really hope his boss lets him change the days around when the car gets fixed. It's gonna get inspected tomorrow and my cousin's are going to see what the problem is. If the problem is really minor, it should be fixed by next week. If it's major, then we're in deep shit I guess.

This is the first time in years that I have been as violently ill as I am today.

Very unpleasant.

Now I'm hearing that some idiot broke into my mom's car (by subtly smashing a rear window) and stole her iPod.

Fantastic.

Well, I've come to a difficult point in my life right now. I'll be turning 25 at the end of the month, and here I am jobless with skills nobody around here has use for except for my muscle and reach. Additionally, I'm wondering if getting deep into technology isn't my real forte, but actually something more towards art and creative works. So I'm in the middle regarding three things:

1. Move to Washington: I don't know why, but the Puget Sound region is sounding really good right now for somewhere to move. Although all of my money will probably be gone if I do move, I'll be closer to a industry I love and a culture that is much more progressive. Sorry Indiana, maybe I'll come back to live here again, but when I do, it's because I brought a good dose of what you really need with me...

Or...

2. Become self-employed: Probably the very least likely of my decisions that will go through. I really don't like the stuffiness, standards, and required knowledge and experience just for a career job these days. Before you know it, there's so much of it that you're doing more with keeping in standards and expanding your knowledge base that you're not actually able to do the job regularly. the solution? Become self-employed! I mean, yeah, taxes will he harrowing to figure out, but then you've got a greater degree of freedom to decide what you're doing. Like I said, this probably not the likely decision that's going to happen.

Or...

3. Start a Patreon: This one I don't have to explain why to everyone, right? You've seen my work here in Developer's Exchange, so I guess why not open up for donations? I probably could do something monthly for donators, but not daily since I take my time.

Tried out Lean Cuisine frozen pizza today at work. It's expensive at $3.19 per pizza, but it's MUCH healthier than Celeste Pizzas, which cost $0.99 each. I also have the nerve to say it tastes better than even my long-time standing favorite, Pizza Hut. Progress towards a healthier, thinner me is being made. Now if only I could defeat my caffeine addiction...

Basically, I cannot go without soda. If I try to, I will have eye-aching migraines and feel really lousy. I have seriously got to invest in flavored water at this point.

You can replace soda with coffee, tea, or vitamin water (NOT gatorade). Eventually you will want to switch to nothing but plain water, but even I drink black coffee or tea once or twice a week.

Also avoid diet drinks. They are addictive.

When I was a kid, I used to play Mario 64 DS a lot.  Like, A LOT.  So much in fact, that I got all 150 stars without a guide, caught every rabbit, and got a ridiculous score in all of the minigames, all by the time I was about 10.  But today I found out that somehow my game card got corrupted, and all of the saved data got wiped.

Been having nervous and mental breakdowns, I lost my voice and on top of that I'm feeling sick, and have sharp pains in my lower right part of my body, above the legs.

Oh god, that sounds awful :( Hope you feel much better man!

In other news, our car is almost fixed (yay!). My cousin just needs to repair one more thing and it should be great to go. Only problem now is that my dad can only pick us up on the 22nd August, so we'll have to be here for another 2 weeks, which really, really sucks. But it's now certain I'm returning home on the 22nd August. Aka, my dad's boss is a real dick for not letting him pick us up earlier >_>

Sounds like a good reason to go back to the game :)
