Yeah, definitely. Perhaps she learned it from Impa; perhaps it was innate, as she's pretty "special" to begin with. Either way, I'm sure it's perfectly within her abilities. (Even though she still can't seem to ever defend herself against Ganon...)
Well, TS, about the whole Zelda/Sheik thing. They usually just base the character from the most recent game they've been released in. For example. In SSB, Link used the boomerang for his B move. But he couldn't use the boomerang as an adult.
Yeah, I agree. The characters tend to be a culmination of all the games they've appeared in, with their actual appearance based on the most recent game.
Older games tend to vary a bit. The Ice Climbers remained super-chibi, but Pit got a total from-scratch redesign. Just he's cool like that. I think in Pit's case it's because they were envisioning what he'd look like if the game had continued as a series to present day. After all, Link sure didn't look that serious back on the NES, even in the instruction manual....
Anyway, Sheik notwithstanding, I'm glad they don't base it solely on the most recent game, because I love the Zelda 2 references present in Smash Bros' Zelda series stages and characters.

EDIT: Reread, and it looks like only 1-1, and on occasion 1-2, is used when selected.

Being the Mushroom"y" Kingdom, that must mean the traditional Mushroom Kingdom stage will return.
Not necessarily (oh god I hope not). It's called "Mushroomy" because of the revamped art style. It's not the Mushroom Kingdom as we know it from the 8-bit days, but it's still "Mushroomy".

And here are two videos that MIGHT be the beginning roster:

But, there's a problem. That's 21 starters. Look at the sizes of the icons. Does that mean there are only 8 unlockables? Sonic and Snake don't seem to be starters, either. And it'd be a bit odd to line them down the sides where the P1-4 icons are.
(SSB -> SSBM -> SSBB)
Starters: 8 -> 14 -> 21(?)
Unlockables 4 -> 11 -> ??
Complete Ros.: 12 -> 25 -> ??
Shoot, this is the last Smash game. There should be at least 35, not... 30.
35 is also a possibility if they are listed on the very sides, but yeah. It'd be a bit odd.
A lot of people on GameFAQs are saying that Sakurai said Brawl has 48 chars total. 48. Wouldn't that be nice.

48 characters? Not sure how much I believe that, either.
Today's update? Nice.
