Through out the reading of your post, Aevin, I felt viciously inclined to buy you a milkshake of some variety for your justified grief. Truly.

I hope your next outing is far more amusing and amazing!

Corrupt DayDay.

That would be redundant. chansub-global-emoticon-ddc6e3a8732cb50f

So. Went to the interview today. Since the interview was for the games department of the park, it started with a math test, ya know to make sure I could properly make change and stuff without use of a calculator. They gave me a ten-minute test with ten questions, and my first thought (kept to myself obviously) was "I thought this was a math test, this is like first grade stuff." Ten minute time limit? Aced it in less than three, worked out two to be doubly sure but it was still easy stuff I did in my head. Then came the actual interview, they just had me answer questions from simple "yes or no" questions to other stuff like my personal experience on other jobs, what I'm looking forward to, how I plan to attract customers, etc. I seemed to have aced it, because immediately afterward I was offered a position.

Now, I still have to schedule processing to get my uniform and ID, orientation, and job training, but more or less, I got the job.

Sweet. Congratulations. Now you have to go do your research as to where the secret bathroom is. You know, the one that nobody else ever uses.

So, I decided not to make this into its own topic, since this is kinda like a small "Members Specific" forum for more simple matters, I suppose.

Anyway, to put it simply, I'm going on a forum posting hiatus. It's something I've been wanting to do for a while now. I'm not going to bring out the whole picture, but I felt like I've unintentionally upset or anger people with my public posts and the posts I "like". Apparently doing the later frequently makes me a questionable guy. I honestly don't understand why, maybe it's my posting quality or opinions or me in general, but if people dislike my posts and forum actions, than I should probably decrease my activity here. I also want to stop posting because I tend to put too much emotion into them, probably a prime example is this post. I think I've made it perfectly clear I'm in a emotional state, trying my hardest to stay positive, so I won't dwell on the subject.

Now, don't take this the wrong way, I'm perfectly fine. I think it's best if I declined my posting for awhile, and get some fresh air before I continue again. I'll be on the unofficial PureZC Skype Group and IRC chatroom (just #PureZC mostly), and I'll pop in to update the unofficial PureZC Skype group thread. No wait, I might as well just confirm I'll be stalking a lot still. :P

Well, this may very well be my last post and sign of activity for a while. So see ya if you don't visit either of the two mentioned places. :P

Edit: See ya now!

My family has been cleaning out our garage lately, and I've uncovered a collection of old PC games.  Here's the full list:

Age of Mythology - I don't really know what to expect from this one since I've never heard of it, but it has Zeus, Anubis and Thor on the cover, so how bad could it really be?

Grand Theft Auto 3 - I'm honestly not really sure how or why we have this.

The Sims - As well as the Vacation and Livin' Large expansion packs.

Imperialism 2 - Another game I've never heard of

CSI - Based on the show I guess?

Went to buy a used car today. They basically insulted me, so I walked. I then went to get dinner with family and things went badly enough that they knocked more than ten dollars off the bill. Woo!

It was a good day.

You should have brought the used car sales man with you and I bet you could have knocked of 20$ wooooo yeah

-A Bike (it's just been well loved)

EDIT:

Shane: Doctor Sues said something like I have no idea what he said but you should look up Doctor Seus quotes and you'll find it. Sophocles (though the mouth of Plato) said that he was the gadfly of Athens if that helps. And Calvin said so many things I'd bet at least four of them apply to your situation so go read Calvin and Hobbes. It will get you in a better mood too. Read some Far Side if Calvin and Hobbes doesn't work. Go to gocomics.com or something. Skype me if your still not in a good mood. I'm half drugged and wearing a teeeaaarrrrra of ice packs (i can't spell those foreign hat things so go with the fenetic prononciation). Scoooby Doooby Dooooooo!

So I was watching someone do a longplay of Ristar on Hard difficulty and it reminded me how awesome the game was. Every x-1 level has a unique boss at the end of it with 3-1's being one of my favorite gimmicks. Basically, it's a game of memory. You have to beat three rounds of it to complete the level. Basically, eyes pop out of holes with numbers and you have to defeat the enemies in the order of which hole they appeared in. Get it right and you move on. Fail, and the lava rises up and burns you, costing you one star (four stars is full life).

Round 1: Numbers appear and stay above the hole. You have 4 enemies to defeat. A complete joke. Beating round 1 nets you a gem worth a small number of points.

Round 2: The numbers show up, but disappear. This round is faster and you have to remember the order of 5 enemies. Getting this correct earns you a gold star you can grab to refill your life by 1.

Round 3: Goes much faster and shows no numbers. All six holes are used. Clearing this beats the level and awards you with a Ristar Doll, which gives you an extra life.

Oh and don't start me on the music. How did Ristar get the "cult classic" status with a great soundtrack like it has? It should have been so popular it rivaled Sonic. But no. Instead, it's one of those obscure great games few have played and fewer got to enjoy when it was fairly new.
