Did you spam Vertical Slash several times during the game? That move is so overpowered.

Hell, I didn't even know what I was doing in battle really, If I spammed It I didn't even know. >.>

I know I spammed Zeal's accelerate and Mirania's Revive skills a lot. :P

Played the demo for the console version of Resident Evil Revelations, and overall I have to say that this version DEMOLISHES the 3DS version. The visuals are better, no frame rate drops (the FR was surprisingly smooth on the console version), and the controls feel much much cleaner. If you have a 360/PS3/Wii U or a nice gaming PC, and you refuse to buy a 3DS, then I highly recommend this game.

I'm playing the complete collection of Ultima 7 right now. Currently 1/5 of the way through Part II.

It's a long game.

Started playing Silent Hill 2 as soon as I finished The Last Story.

And just finished it today, and boy its still a great game!.

And Now I've started Yoshi's Island up on the snes, its to prepare me for Yoshi's Island DS.

Which my brother is playing, and from what he has told me so far the game sounds hard <.<

And in the future I'm planing on playing the first three Spyro the dragon games, which I have not played in a long time. Dx

Doing some more maintenance work on Minecraft in terms of my 2nd floor machines. Tempted to replace the building floor and ceiling with Xycraft bricks but that would take forever~

Also trying to get better at Super Hexagon.

Just completed The Last Story. :) Only took 2 1/2 days to beat. Great game overall. I really don't have much to complain about. :)

I'm playing me some Borderlands 2. It's a pretty fun game. I love the vast weapon selection. The elemental guns are so much fun! I'm still in early stages of the game, so I'm not sure what to make of it yet, but from what I've played thus far, it's very enjoyable.

Just beaten Mega Man 3.

Overall, this is a pretty solid game that takes lots of practice to perfect or even beat. The Robot masters were all fun to fight this time around (except maybe Gemini Man in his second phase along with the Doc. Robot Air Man, Wood Man and Quick Man battles... ugh!) and many of the weapons were somewhat effective outside of the Robot Master fights. The levels were well-designed for the most part, incorporating a slew of clever tricks to keep you on your toes.

However, it is not without its flaws. The level design was let down by the Doc. Robot stages because they were cheap edits of the previous stages with cheap tricks involved, especially his variants of Spark Man's and Needle Man's stages. The highlight of this is one particular part of his variant of Needle Man's stage. There is a long Rush Jet segment in Doc. Robot's variant of Needle Man's stage that takes more than a full tank of Rush Jet energy to complete (which, by the way, is right after the Air Man fight, which is only being second on terms of frustration to the Wood Man fight in Doc. Robot's Shadow Man's stage). There are refills scattered along the way, which never respawn. If you cross the gap and end up getting dying with no more refills to collect, then you will have to restart the whole stage again (including the infuriating fight with Air Man). Fortunately, the Wily stages made up for this with their good design. However, the Final (Final) boss felt slightly anticlimactic.

Summary:

Strong Points -

  • Good level design in general.
  • Fun and challenging Robot Master fights.
  • Good weapons.
  • Great Wily Final 1 fight.

Weak Points -

  • Too much reliance on Hard Man's weapon for the Wily stages ('Punch gates', usage against most of the Wily bosses).
  • THAT RUSH JET SEGMENT!
  • Infuriating Doc. Robot fights.
  • Slightly anticlimactic Final Boss battle (Wily Final 2 fight).

Final score: 7/10

The ending is actually pretty great, but when you get to higher levels, the bosses are a pushover. I ended the game at level 69 (hehe) and I did all the optional stuff before the game's ending. :) So yeah. I don't think you'll be disappointed, but I don't want to spoil anything. ;)

You realize that's exactly why the enemies respawn so quickly there, right? You move a couple feet to the left and right to make the parachute enemy re-spawn, shoot him down over solid ground, and refill the Rush Jet with the item drops. If you somehow run out of fuel partway across, you stop on the platform and do the process again. Rather tedious, I know, and that's why I liked how some of the later games have W-Tanks or whatever that refill your Weapon Energy like how E-Tanks refill your health, but it is possible to do without re-playing the level quite so much. I was fairly patient on that game and farmed for energy/health, and the number of lives I ended up getting from enemy drops was how I managed the game without abusing save-states outside of getting out of the all-levels-at-once Wily Fortresses. I used them to be able to stop part-way without having to re-play multiple levels in one sitting.

Yeah the bosses are super easy once you get pretty high in levels I know I spent a lot of time (Not that much) and got to level 99.

I ended the game at Level 99, at that level the final boss didn't even take long at all :P

Yeah, I had a guard and attack tactic and I also got Zael's counter attack timing pretty much down. I also was using the same armor as what I had in the beginning. It was a little challenging to stay alive but I made it with a clever use of guarding and nice weapon attributes. :)

@Dawnlight: If you haven't sold it yet (well, you can buy another one), you should upgrade the first blade in the game to as high as you can. I got it up to +5 and it dealt 1k melee damage. It's REALLY overpowered. ;) (For a weapon you have right off the bat at least)

Well I went on another gamestop trip,  and I bought Disgaea Hour of Darkness.

And I started it up and this game has a Charm to it I like.

Well time to start another game that will take all my time.

Yeah that's an amazing game, don't like the 2nd one in the series (dislike the level layouts/puzzle levels and it has extremely blurry graphics, I hear later games let you toggle the blur on/off.) that much though and haven't played any of the others. First game is extremely good though. Pretty deep itemization, my only disappointment is the size of the side quests, the amount of grinding needed to complete them and that there is only 1 area that is really useful in the late game for grinding.

I do love the Item World though, best place!
