I just finished adding Arch Demons and Pixies to Dragon Quest Adventure! Arch Demons shoot 3 fast fireballs and Pixies jump around! XD

I made an easy, but cool script that will accompany a boss. Now I just have to make the boss. And the quest that surrounds it.

 

why are there so many tiles

I actually worked more on my intro, and added a few graphics in. Been taking my time, no one likes a dozen rushed overworld screens made in an hour, right?

Well, nothing notable for my project, although I have considered a new name because "Adam's Quest" and "Adam's Quest II" sound lame. Instead, I was thinking about changing their names to Adam no Bouken and Adam no Bouken Tsu, being IMO neater sounding, although sadly, there wouldn't be any Japanese. Insert fake story of it being a Japanese game that was translated properly and not into Engrish like the original Zelda 1. Not sure how it would be taken, but hopefully those names sound better than just Adam's Quest, but that's why I have the PureZC community to judge for themselves.

Welcome to the forums, I really hope you'll enjoy it here! Did you get anything accomplished in ZC too? Because that is what this thread is about . If you didn't then you should looks forward to some great fun with the program.

I have done some beta testing to my side project and started working on a big script. I hope to get this quest done soon

Deviance, I did those very same things just the other day!  Except for the part about the car.  I don't have a car.  But I did oil my bike chain.  

 

in Pure ZC, I have decided to stop procrastinating and start working on Dungeon maps.  I've been having so much fun on the overworld, but neglecting mechanics and flow.  Almost ready to update the demo of my first quest!

While it wasn't today, so I don't know if it counts, I got some overworld screens done this weekend, and planned out a lot of Bananas' post-game content with Moosh. It's gonna be crazy.

Completed a big chunk of dungeons in my current "Mash Up Quest". Looking forward to how I'm going to tackle the bigger dungeons of the quest and of course, the Level 9s.

More testing of my quest from the beginning. Keep thinking everything's all good and then I find things wrong or that I want to change. But it keeps getting better and more of a solid game. Bosses now return after death! Not that you would have to fight them again, but if you wanted to you could. Actually, the first boss doesn't return, but the rest do. Some bosses have the chance to drop 20-50g so you could farm them if you're that broke.

I screwed around with lock blocks for a while. All 32 of the ones in that screen shot are functional. Thanks to Moosh for making this all possible.

Beta tested three quests, I found some bugs here and there. NOW FIX THEM. D:< I also helped out a person out who's using ZQuest for the first time. I now hope he gets the hang of it and starts making some sweet quests. I also made a couple of screens, and worked on some sprites for my active subscreen. I'm calling it a day/night/morning. It hit 3am here. Need... sleep...
