The initial playthrough of Lost Isle is quite hard actually. But after you beat it the first time and on subsequent playthroughs, the game actually gets easier. Probably because now 1) You know what to do for every dungeon/overworld set piece. 2) You know where all the hard spots are and how to avoid/manage them 3) Your skill grows with ground you've already covered. So Lost Isle is truly a game that gets better the more you play it.

Speaking of playing it again, why can't I fight Dracolith again? That was my favorite boss of any Zelda Classic quest. Why did you block off the path to him? The best part of custom bosses is you get to fight them again and again and again, and you prevented that.

Yes, and I have been fighting him again and again. But for the most part, he doesn't move. Dracolith soars down at you. That's what makes him a truly incredible boss.

The final boss took the longest to make and it is my favorite custom boss, but I can see why everyone seems to like Dragolich the most. It is just such a smooth and cool figth to be a custom boss battle. icon_smile.gif

I can definitly see why the final boss took the longest to make. It's awesome! How long did it take to draw his final form? And what script was used for the yellow projectiles he shoots at Link?

I believe those were FFC combos that were damage combos and were scripted to fly along set paths.

custom script I believe, but the premise between those and the fireballs Morlach shoots I think are the same thing.

Peteo or Darkflamewolf, I doubt you will, but I was hoping you would give me the password for Lost Isle.
I won't tell anybody I swear, and I won't remake it at all, I just wanted to figure out how you made it. Just PM me.

thing is, neither of us know it. He randomly made a Password for it right before release. He still has a unpassworded version of the quest which he has YET to give to me. So I highly doubt he'll give it to you, and if he does.....then there will be some serious words spoken. icon_razz.gif

Perhaps you guys should make a tutorial on how to do some of the stuff you did in Lost Isle. I mean, some of the things were amazing. I still say my favorite is Dracolith. There should have been more custom bosses. But I do like how some were semi custom (like the level four boss). Although the one boss that needs improvement was the level two one. When the statues come alive, they should be more than normal digdoggers. They should fly around and shoot fireballs or something.

Yes yes and yes, I do agree there should be more custom bosses in Lost Isle. icon_smile.gif
But the thing is, even with all these new features custom boss creating is still very tough and time consuming, so LI would have been delayed a lot if all the bosses in the game were custom.

You may ask why does a delay matter? Well, for big game companies it doesnt matter but we are 2 people with real lifes so LI had to be completed at the time it was completed or it may have not been ever finished. So even though I wanted this quest to have more custom bosses when we started making it, I'm glad Wolfie restricted me now that I look back on things... icon_wink.gif

Hmm... something just occured to me while thinking back for the boss of this game...
If I get the "awesome" item, then I don't need to get the item of Level 5? Just because this would cause a little plot strangeness. Morlach would say "How did you get those?!" while I didn't even get it, just a stronger form. Of course, this easily can be explained as the Level 5 item was copied, improved and put into a place guarded with an army of monsters...

Or it could also be expalined as DarkFlameWolf was board, made the Master Dome and put the red armor in it, and then Peteo stepped in and put the Holy Arrows in, without thinking how it would affect the stoyline. icon_biggrin.gif
