Well, yeah, but a normal evolution for Eevee seems rather boring, since it's already a normal type. I understand that, yeah, that would make it less useless if you wanted to stick with a normal Eevee, but... Eh, I'd rather see the other types filled out first. Either way, sticking to my gut on it being a flying type.

It's Gamefreak, they don't exactly make good decisions. I wouldn't put it past them to make it a Normal Evolution. A new type is second most likely. I doubt it'll be a flying type or anything unique.

When I first saw it this morning, I thought it was really bad looking. But now, it's grown on me. I'm sure we'll see another Eeveelution soon!

I wonder what other old Pokemon got new evolutions, if any. I'm looking at you, pre-evolution Lapras that is needed!

I hope there's another Eeveelution coming, but I'm kinda doubting it since they usually release them together if there's more than one. I still can't stand it as an Eeveelution, every time I look at it I see a Victini evolution, not an Eeveelution..

Apologies for the double post but Ninfia's english name has been announced as Sylveon.

It was also shown using Swift, Trump Card and another move which we're not sure what exactly it is. Possibly Focus Blast on the last one, but even then, it doesn't mean it's Fighting type.

I still say Normal typing for Sylveon..

Sylveon looks a LOT better in 3D than as in 2D. I didn't like the 2D image shown in CoroCoro, but it really redeems itself when shown in 3D. You should really see the newly released video before making a proper judgement on it
Also, why would a Normal-typed Eevee evolution be boring? Sure, Eevee is already a Normal type, but Sylveon would have a much better movepool and stats. It would also be a refreshing change having the Normal-typed Eevee very different designwise, it would look very stale if it was similar to Eevee.
Besides, the Normal type is very versatile for all intents and purposes, even if it doesn't hit anything for super effective damage.

So this is some new stuff here. Unconfirmed whether it's an alternate form of Mewtwo or a new Pokémon altogether; the video title says "New Pokémon" but I don't know if that's official or not, we'll have to wait and see. Personally, I like the way it looks, even if it's basically a Zora. But I'm also hoping it's something new entirely. Heck, maybe Mewthree is becoming Ascended Fanon? Honestly I wouldn't mind that.

Hoping it's a new Pokemon. It doesn't look bad, but at the same time, I'd rather not see it become "Mewtwo transformed!" Also, according to Serebii (and vaguely hinted at in the trailer), it has some connection to Genesect. Given their similar backstories... this could be intersting.

So the whole thing with legendary Pokemon that have different forms sure is a thing. You think they'll grow the balls to actually have one of the fuckers evolve this time instead of "Hey look at me everybody! I talked to the magic lawnmower and now I look different!"?

If it's not related to Mewtwo, I bet they did that purposefully just to make the hardcore fans of the series (not me) scream Mewthrii. You should see how many Mewthrii drawings were uploaded today on the art sites because of this icon_mad.gif.

Eh, if it isn't related to Mewtwo, it's pretty lame for a new pokemon design to be honest.

If it is related to Mewtwo, I doubt it's going to actually evolve into/from it.

Might be able to MILDLY customize your trainer now. They need to step that up.

So, the official portraits of the male and female main characters look odd yet again, surprise surprise. But I actually think I like these new Pokémon, apart from that weird thing on the bottom. More importantly, I see an image of the male trainer riding that stag/buffalo/moose thing, which makes me wonder if that's a new alternate method of transportation. Which would be awesome. As far as customizing the main character, I'd be happier if we can customize more than his skin, but it's still a step up from previous entries. I mean, my guess is we will, or the shots we keep seeing of them standing in front of mirrors will seem pointless in the end, but still, also hoping for more customization, but won't be bothered if we don't get any.

I don't like the new Mewtwo; not only is it an unnecessary addition to something that worked perfectly before, but the art style is totally different. If the colors were slightly altered, it would look like an entirely new Pokemon. In addition, it doesn't look anything like Mew, which I think might be the approach they were trying to take. But, whatever. They failed. Surprise.

The trainers look dumb, but that's really no shock. Customization is cool but seems forced because of minimality. The new Pokemon look kind of cool, though. We'll see how it continues to play out. What is it, five months until release? Swag.

I think the trainers look fine. They seem fairly normal compared to some of the designs we had in the past. But to each their own. :P I do like that we're getting customizability, but I do hope they'll add some more means of customizing the character. If not, oh well. Not fond of the new Pokemon on the bottom, but whatever. I probably won't use it. I'm going to be trying to build me Eevee army as soon as I can. XD Still looking forward to it. :3

That panda oh my gosh that panda I want it I want one right now.

Yeah... it's definitely going on my team. The new mons, aside from the one on the bottom, all look good. It looks like the region map confirms that the region is France, too. Trainer customization is nice, even if it's just minimal. And riding on the weird buffalo thing... I'm intrigued. I'm really interested to see how this turns out.

New trailer.

Woah man, we can sit on benches. O:

Seriously though, nothing too fascinating or anything. Well, barring that bit about riding on that Pokemon's back - I think that's pretty neat. I 'unno.

Wonder if that riding is only slow because you're in a town, and it'll be faster in the wild. Either way, seems interesting. The sitting on benches, not sure what that's important for, but that's okay. :P

So, the bird uses fire moves... depending on what other bird types are available (Pidgey please) that's almost making me reconsider picking up the Fire starter. We'll see, I guess...
