Did you bomb the cracked blocks standing between you and the super bomb?

OK, I see the hookshot but can't figure out how to get it. Is there another entrance somewhere because I see the warp spot below the hookshot so I'm guessing I need to find another way to get to it, but where? Thanks in advance icon_biggrin.gif

eta: never mind, I figured it out right after I posted this. Isn't that always the way? icon_heh.gif

Ok, I'm still in the Light World and there are a few things I can't figure out. I haven't found any of those medal things, can I get a clue as to where they are? Is there a bracelet in the LW somewhere, if so, where? I can't seem to beat Ganon in the Cave of Darkness, no matter how many times I hit him with my sword and silver arrows. Also, what's with the screen next to the Cave of Darkness where the pirate guy says something like "for true champions only", what do I do there to get that open? I don't want to go into the Dark World before I've gotten everything in the LW. I also have Din's Fire, Nayru's Love and Farore's Wind, is that all there is of the magic? I also have 3 swords, but it looks like I'm missing the 3rd sword, do I need that? I killed the darknuts on the southeast short and got that treasure. Also, I never found the pass to get past that castle guard.

This game has been quite different than your average quest, you have to think differently, that's for sure. Anyway, if I could get some help before I step into the DW, I'd appreciate it icon_biggrin.gif

1. All of the medals are in the medal palace, in the town to the west.
2. The bracelet is sold in the same town.
3. Ganon has a lot of HP - just keep hitting him with the sword until he changes color, then finish him with an arrow
4. That's the Fusion Temple. You need to beat both worlds before it opens.
5. That's all the magic and the swords in the LW.
6. Ask the guy east of town.

Yep, I try to be different.

Ok, thanks! I don't mean to be a pain, but do you mean I ask a guy east of the main LW town for the pass? The only guy to the east I found was the hermit. I'm a bit confused icon_redface.gif

Yep. That hermit guy tells you he lost his town pass somewhere nearby...

Great, got it, thanks for your help! I guess I'm ready to step into the DW, I'm just wondering how many triforce pieces I should have from the LW.

There are three total; all in the LW. The DW doesn't use Triforce pieces.

Looks like you already triggered the secrets - the result is in another room. I like my screen state carryovers (here and elsewhere).

I'm hoping this won't be considered a double post as it's been 24 hours icon_redface.gif

AAAARRRGGGHHH, this room is going to drive me insane. Is there a trick to it? I can get the upper right switch without jumping on the platform, and I can get the bottom right, and once in awhile I can get one of the left ones, but I can't get them all at once. Is it necessary to complete this room? Maybe it will be easier with a gamepad? I think I have one somewhere I could dig up. This is the room:

Also, what is up with this room? I can't seem to do anything in it:

Yeah, it might be easier with a gamepad. It requires really good timing... and patience... and maybe some luck. Just remember that falling doesn't make you fail the puzzle - if you need to, you can fall without jumping on a crumbling platform to teleport back to the beginning with very little loss of life.

That was frustrating, but I got through it. I notice there's a part of the overworld I can't seem to figure out how to get to. Where I can slash two bushes and go to the right, it just warps me into the town area. I don't know how to open up the rest of the map:

Slash more bushes on the same screen.
