Oh chill out, it was a harmless joke. No need to overreact to it. I thought we were above attempting to derail this thread with personal arguments. If this keeps up, some punishment's gonna get doled out. Bank on it.

I enjoy a good typo now and then. They make for fantastic breaks in the conversation where people can chime in and comment about how much they enjoy typos and their relative comedy value.

I need to get back into seltzer. It's guilt-less.

Carbonated beverages: Because it's like drinking pain with your drink, then bloatedness. Yes I totally paid for that.

I have to disagree there. I run on pretty much Pepsi. It keeps me going because sleep has proven time and time again that it can't.

Frankly I think this thread ought to be merged with TOPLITE. If you're able to post at all you can see OtBP, so why not?

Just doesn't seem like something appropriate for a publicly-visible forum I guess. It will make guests think PureZC is something it isn't.

Not much to disagree with there for all three paragraphs actually.

Cream soda and fruit-flavored sodas are some of my favorites, though I try not to drink any soda. I wish I could say I shy away from coffee and its various flavorings (I use ice cream.) but it's effective for when I'm at work. Otherwise, water for meals.

Oh and I do decarbonize (It's a word now!) my soda before I drink it. Settled.

Sorry, but the current staff disagrees.

Cream soda

Ahhhh, cream soda. Have you ever had a cream soda float? It's like a root beer float only with cream soda instead. Get some ice cold cream soda, put in a scoop of vanilla ice cream and some whipped cream on top.... Cool whip too. If you like cream soda, you'll like this. icon_smile.gif It's to die for. And to kill for. I love cream soda.

Texting: Never owned a phone. I use pen and paper and a letterbox. icon_wink.gif

Planking: It was a huge craze when it started today I occasionally see a person or two planking. Why does this stuff get so much unneeded attention? O.o

Speeding: Speeding to some people think it's cool. It's not. It's low and careless if you crash and kill someone I'm pretty sure you won't think your cool no more.

While writing a letter can be useful, it takes too long in order to get the point across. What if it's an urgent message? Letters can take as long as two weeks to reach their destination. Texting can speed up the process ten fold.

If it's urgent I use the house phone. I only write to people who are in my town or in the middle of nowhere and have limited power supply.

Mailing a letter is certainly slow, thus "snail mail", but at the same time, it has this unique personal touch that nothing electronic could live up to. That is, something handwritten has a personal touch that you can't get from typed text. Then again, it's been a long time since I have hand written a note to somebody. Maybe some time I will just for the heck of it. It does bring up an interesting story that my brother shared with me recently.

He was talking to a guy a few days ago who was asking him where to put the stamp on an envelope, since he apparently didn't know that it goes on the upper right hand corner of it, and for whatever reason had to mail a letter. With people being so dependent on technology these days, I guess it is bound to happen. Not that I am anti-technology (look what I am doing now!), but I think it is still good to understand how to use non-technology methods for achieving similar tasks. Hey, you never know when it will become handy.

I am going to agree with those who dislike drinking alcohol, beer, and wine. I have never tasted any before but I know I dislike the smell, and I generally dislike the taste of things that don't smell good.

I think the second one ended up in the grave in the last one, if you asked me.
