If anyone hears "Can't play. Hurricane." It's legit.

FYI.

Indeed.

Yep, I'm on for Saturday afternoon, fer shure. I'll be around the channel, looking for ShadowTiger and Yoshidude, and anybody else is welcome if they are around and have the game. Just join #Terraria and anything you need to know can be given either there or privately.

Also remember, no outside character, even though at this point some of us can handle Eye of Cthulhu and the Goblin Army. So no guy with Molten Armor or anything else that requires Hellstone, Yoshidude. icon_razz.gif

That was fun. I love our underground meeting place, mostly thanks to Sephiroth. I added the keg and barrel, and brought in some beer. The decorations are nice too.

Also, I hope my tunnels are helpful.

Ditto, through and through. I enjoyed walking around and seeing everyones' houses. They're very cool. I plan on decorating mine some more. Maybe I'll install grass under all of my ceilings so I'll get vines in the walkways. I'm trying to build somewhat of a more "natural" red brick house.

I'm also glad that I got a hook and some iron near the end so I could assemble my grappling hook. I love that thing. Possibly even more than the Ivy Vine Whip.

That was indeed fun. I should, I dunno, actually meet up with you guys on the server sometime. I always seem to stick to my little corner. icon_xd.gif

Also, making the pub was fun. XD Poor trees that felt my wrath. (But I did replant them. :3)

Haha, at gunpoint from me. icon_razz.gif I look forward to seeing the pub.

I still can't believe there was a Goblin invasion. I tried, but I died just so many times, only to respawn a few feet to the left. XD Ahahaha... Much fun, and just as many goblins. icon_blah.gif

Yo seriously I am totally planting trees wherever I go. I now even know the specific requirements for growing them.

Tomorrow could be tough for me on that particular Sunday.

Establishing that however, my weekly schedule with work and other obligations are now back to being consistent. That means that Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays are completely out of the question for me. Mondays, Wednesdays, and Sundays are possible, but my time is limited. Saturdays are easily the best bet.

So the next possible day to play will be Monday, and perhaps from 12 to 3 EST? I can't go later than 3, since I have to leave for work to teach my Math of Dosage students, whom I always enjoy teaching.

I wish I could have joined in on the fun yesterday (or today, depending how you look at it.) icon_razz.gif

I've been busy so I didn't have the opportunity to join in... Ah well, perhaps next time. Personally, I think Saturdays would probably be best for days to play. The school year's coming up for me and I'm sure others, (and some have started it, of course,) so there will be more free time Saturdays. Weekday afternoons could work too. Personally, I think it'll just be all-around easier if we simply do it on Saturdays. So that's my two cents.

I'll hopefully always be able to play on Saturdays. I have a permanent, persisting excuse to stay on a PC all afternoon.

Nate, are you free to host the server on any particular evenings? Sheer curiosity here.

I try to keep my evenings free for other things in general, and they can be iffy for a variety of reasons. Monday evenings I have some prep work to get done for the rest of the week, including preparing my work orders to send out on Tuesday morning, so that could be an issue. Tuesday and Thursday evenings, like the day, are hard for me because those are my long work days, which go all the way into the evening. I get home around 9 PM, but I am usually dead tired at that point. Wednesday and Friday evenings are possible, but are still questionable every week. I wouldn't know until I approach those days closer.

I do want to play this more, and I enjoy it, but I can't play too often, as like anything else that is fun, too much of it can start to eat up valuable time needed for other priorities. Thus, I wouldn't be able to play it as much as I would want to.

If any of you have more time than I do, or have an availability that greatly contrasts mine, you guys can start a second server if you wish for those times when I am not available. Saturdays are a definite almost all of the time for me, though. There are other opportunities, but I have to take those day by day.

What about Sunday evenings. Those would work well for me since I usually get off work at 7 due to it being Sunday.

I might have to try this. I was never able to use Minecraft to any degree of satisfaction because my computer is too slow to render 3d, but a 2d version might be feasable...

Yes, my laptop won't run Minecraft, but it will definitely run Terraria without too much of a problem. Do try it. Just have XNA updated to version 4. It's on their FAQ page.
