Those are some nice comparisons.
I'm sticking with my original statement: the graphics are quite improved, but they kept the style 100% the same (even some of the weird parts).
I think it's a good thing. OoT could have used a slight graphical improvement, even if it had simply been made for the N64 added memory expansion. In particular, the 3DS version is taking advantage of having much more space for storing textures. OoT was reeeeeaaally short on texture space; it really had to stretch the textures it had. literally.
For a good example, look at the above screenshot. See the raised ridge behind Link? The new texture looks a LOT more like stone/dirt than the original N64 texture. And look at the wooden beams on the Kokiri house atop the ridge.

I'd like to point out that the strap was in MM.

Ahh, I forgot about that. The N64 didn't have enough memory to handle the extra detail, but with the memory expansion MM was able to add a few new details to Link, along with a few other improvements.

lol. I like that it's in there. I always liked it for some reason. Don't know why. I guess it's the subtle things that make games good. Not sure what a dinosaur drawing did to make a game good, but I still like it.

It allows you to imagine Link living his daily life in Kokiri Village. Do you also like the drawing the Skullkid made in the middle of Termina Field in MM?
