Not bad ideas, but that virus one seems alittle harsh. Just alittle upset over here, though, that we have to wait ALL THE WAY UNTIL SPRING. They should've made it around Christmas time....

I know. I want it so badly, but they make us wait until Spring! Well, it came out in Japan a month earlier than Platinum did last year, so I expect it to come out here a month earlier too. At least, I hope it does. icon_smile.gif

I suppose with Spirit Tracks coming out in December, they wouldn't want one to detract from the other's popularity.

My game plan:

Step 1: Get HEART GOLD.
Step 2: Get Totodile.
Step 3: OVERGRIND it to ~ Lv 12.
Step 4: DESTROY my Rival.
Step 5: Use all the received Pokeballs and buy more to have ~12 Diff kinds.
Step 6: OVERGRIND new Pokemon to ~ Lv 12.
Step 7: PWN the Johto Region.
Step 8: PWN the Kanto Region.
Step 9: WRECK Red/Ash!
Step 10: Re-Annihilate the Gym Leaders.
Step 11: Secret Events!?
Step 12: Lv 100 Pokemon.

Lvl 12 Pokémon can own both regions? Seriously?

dlbrooks 34, it's only for 24 hours, is it really that bad? It just seems odd to only have a beneficial virus. Once they're cured, they're cured! No more penalties.

Only failists need to send Pokemon from other games to win >=P.

Nice plan, but aren't you going to catch more Pokemon?
I catch any Pokemon that I haven't previously caught, and don't have a Pokemon that will evolve to it in my box.

Sometimes that's just too demanding. Pokemon battles get way too boring for one to get as many entries as possible.

Who says I need to send them over to win? I just happen to really like my team in Platinum. Which happens to be the children from my team in Pearl. icon_razz.gif

I guess I'll do it the right way and catch my team. Which means it will probably be a Cyndoquil, an Amaphros, a Lapras (or maybe the red Gyrados, bus probably not), an Arcanine, a Pidgeot, and something else I haven't decided on yet.

I must have Totodile and a Haunter, Machop, and Gligar. Those are 3 of my favorite Pokemon. I'm not going to evolve any of those, until the last 2 levels.

I hate playing through a game with too-powerful Pokemons, I think it kind of steals the challenge away. On the other hand, once I beat a game, I will often pool all of the Pokemon into one "mega" game. (Was LeafGreen, back when I really played.)
