If it's not too late, Crash Man is your next target. Or Metal Man, he's the easiest with the buster alone, and his weapon wrecks Bubble Man, Wood Man, Flash Man, and himself.

Too late; ended up taking om Bubbleman, Heatman, Metalman (Why does it seem his weapon is OP), Flashman, Crashman, Woodman and then Quickman (grrr... hated his stage. I attempted it before I took on Bubbleman and after several deaths, I went on. I ended up using Flashman's ability to beat it) in that order. Now I am up to Wily castle 1 and this level is really unforgiving, particularly from the checkpoint before you run from the dragon.

Just wait. The game only gets more unforgiving. Just lots of reasons why I find it's honestly one of the most overrated games of all time. I managed to get past the beams in Quick Man's stage, but it's just punishing, and there's also the fact that you need Flash Man's weapon to take down Quick Man more easily, so it's kind of an unfair requirement. Also the one spot in Heat Man's level where you need the Item-2 (Rush Jet precursor) to get across that pit, or expert skills in navigating those blocks. Also two of the bosses in Wily's Castle are ridiculous, one far more than the other. I honestly put Megaman 2 near the bottom of the list of favorite Megaman games for many reasons, I think the only one I like less is Megaman 5.

Just wait til you get to Wily's Castle stage 4. If you're using an emulator, make sure you save state before the boss. If you don't do it exactly right (and I mean exactly, there's no room for error), you'll be stuck and have to redo the entire Wily Castle sequence. I'd give it the distinction of being one of the worst video game bosses ever, and it's one of the many reasons I abhor the game.

I'm glad that I'm not the only one who hated Quickman's stage and that part in Heatman's stage where you had to navigate that huge dissapearing block sequence (or use Item-2, which is what I did) to get across. Well, I beat that dragon (which, by the way, pretty much OHKOs you with anything it throws at you becaus it's flames have too much knockback for fighting on 1-block platforms) and breezed past Stage 2. Currently at stage 3 and that spike navigation sequence is just... cheap. Reminds me of those beam segments from Quickman's stage, but cannot be aced with Flashman's weapon. Its a shame too; it was a perfectly fine game, better than MM 1, minus Flashman's stage and that one segment in Heatman's stage (The moving platform segments from Iceman's and Wily Castle 1 stages from MM 1 were just as infuriating if not worse than those stages) until it got to Wily's castle, which easily ruins the game for me.

Still playing Kingsley's Adventure...
This game is not as bad I thought. But still its still pretty childish except the platforming is unnecessarily hard.
In the second dungeon I was stuck for almost 30 so odd minutes trying to get passed some slick platforms...
At least I'm done with that one and I claimed my awesome new sword and gauntlets. :3

And so I worked my way past Wily Stage 3 and then 4 in Megaman 2. Now up to Dr. Wily and his robot master clones.
As it turns out, Stage 3 wasn't so bad after all though that spike segemt can still go die.
Stage 4, on the other hand was filled with cheap tricks including the fact that you literally had to use EVERY SINGLE Crash Bomb you could get in your inventory to beat the boss. There is literally no margin of error here; Every single Crash Bomb you use has to hit either a part of the boss or one of the barriers guarding it or you have to die and grind up Crash Bombs to start the fight over again. Oh, did I mention that if you use Crash Bombs for each barrier, you're gonna run out before you defeat the boss. Furthermore, you have to shoot one of the Crash Bombs in exactly in the right spot between one part of the boss and one of the barriers in order to be able to have enough bombs to defeat the boss.
Epitome of cheap boss design. Reminds me of what noobs would put in romhacks, but worse.

Have fun with that. I know I was glad to be free of that game when I finally beat all the levels. >.<

Oh gosh. Best of luck to you, Ventus. I've never beat it, but I 'beat' most of the levels.

Well Thanks for the wish's guys. I'm still working on it... I've been playing for awhile now, and I can't even make it pass level 4 on the Harder Mode.
But I'll keep on trying I've made it this far I should be able to make it further at some point...

Tell me about it. Console Terraria has got me in the same way. I just got full Jungle armour (I'm running Mage) and am going back to the Jungle to get the spores required to get the Ivy Whip.
I also beat Megaman 2. I wouldn't call it a terrible game, as it was pretty good in the robot master stages (bar Quickman's stage and the one part at the end of Heatman's stage), but that was all ruined by the Dr. Wily stages which were filled with cheap tricks. Wily Final 1 was OK, as everything was fine, but the the final boss was the definition of cheapness, nearly as bad the as Wily stage 4 boss.
Spoiler

Final score: 4/10.

High points of Megaman 2:
- Good soundtrack
- Fairly solid level design
- Metal Blade is ridiculously overpowered

Low points of Megaman 2:
- Robot Masters are somewhat unbalanced
- Some of the Wily bosses are generally awful
- Anticlimactic final boss
- CRASH BOMB BOSS
- Metal Blade is ridiculously overpowered

Megaman 3 does a much better job with all of these low points (well, unless you know the final boss's weakness) and improves the high points. If you're not turned off from Megaman games forever, give it a shot. It's a vast improvement. Megaman 4's quite good as well, though slightly inferior musically.

Don't worry, I plan to play through the entire series (as they come out on the Nintendo EShop). I started playing MM3 and I can see that it is far more polished than MM2. Haven't cleared a stage yet though.
Another thing I neglected to mention; I started on the PMD Gates to Infinity demo (because the full version isn't released in Australia yet). At the moment, it feels solid and the visuals look great, but otherwise a standard PMD game (bar the Hunger Meter, which I actually like not having).
