I tried watching the first episode. I didn't like it very much. I don't see why there's so much hype about it. I prefer Adventure Time.

QFT. I honestly don't get the hype behind this show. It's really mediocre, at best.

Alternately, the show is genuinely pretty good you guys just can't appreciate it. Opinions and all that good stuff, you know. The hype comes from the thousands of people who watched it, loved it, and all gathered together to create that fan-culture. If it weren't genuinely entertaining in the first place the fan culture would never have developed.

Hate to be logical, sorry.

Also, if you don't like the show, why are you in this thread?

Its just a Good show! To me its the only thing right worth watching on tv

You may call it "mediocre" But truly I believe not a bunch of people Know how to enjoy a good tv show any more
I call It "Fantastic" Do to its Fantastic "animation" "Characters" Which is easy to fall in love with

Reason i say Its the only thing on tv worth watching
Cartoon network Sucks! right now
All the shows that are being played on it is the worst Tv shows I've seen in a long time
Adult swim Has lost me with "Childrens hospital" "Delocated" and other various shows

Nickelodeon has lost a fan here They just out right SUCK!
There nothing of any value to me to even watch on it no more

And thats why i say MLP:FIM is the only good cartoon coming on

To be QUITE fair, Adventure Time IS amazing. As is Phinneas and Ferb.

And if you're just talking TV in general, let's throw Psych, Dexter and House MD in there, too. There's plenty of excellent television. It just so happens that MLP is among it. It's not for everyone, but it IS for a lot of people.

Well..Adventure time is alright..Most of the time Phinneas and Ferb is good too
I dont like Psych, I do like House MD and dexter but I can not watch dexter I do not have showtime no more.

And mostly i was talking about the cartoon channels so...Yeah..

I think the characters and art are adorable but the rest of the show is little more than rehashings of plots that got old back in the early 90's. Considering its target demographic is six years old that's not really a bad thing but I don't think cute character art alone can carry a serious, adult piece of entertainment.

It can, however, carry internet culture and I quite like that aspect of it.

But people don't enjoy it as adult entertainment, they enjoy it as a kids show. For all us fans of the show, it's refreshing to be able to sit down in front of a tv set on a saturday morning and enjoy a cartoon like we're six years old again.

And speaking of which, I'll be doing that tomorrow because NEW EPISODES ARE BACK! Episode 3 drops tomorrow morning, yeah! And we even get a new opening theme! Daniel Ingram has been touting his work on the revised theme song for a while, and I'm hoping the title sequence will have new animation to match!
