But when that goes hypernova, what happens to the quest?
I'm pretty sure it'll get canceled... And then I can safely blame Obama for my quest being canceled.

I completed a few more screens, worked on my mini-map graphics for my passive subscreen and started to work on my active subscreen. It's good that this quest can be soon playable, I got a lot of people excited about this quest and I'm not letting them down.

Try leaving (if you use) Google Chrome open in the background like on the default search page. Sometimes having it open helps here. Leaving it open with a video that's not playing seems to help sometimes as well (Youtube, Twitch, etc.)
Other browsers may work instead of Chrome too, but I'm not really sure. ZC runs better with something like that open still unless it's IoR Level 10.
Anyhow, I decided to basically redo all my main dungeons pushing everything else even farther back unfortunately. But I gotta admit Level 1 is looking pretty decent and I'm using Interior maps this time instead of NES Dungeon maps. I will miss Secrets + Bombable wall in the same room and NES Shutters, but Interior probably makes most sense to use now.
Now if only i had a midi that would fit this place better than the placeholder one...
The problem is the lag is completely random. Sometimes I could have all kinds of crap open and sometimes nothing other than ZC up and it will STILL be 40-45 FPS. I try playing with the priority level and it fixes the problem...for a few minutes. Restarting my computer is hit or miss. I don't know if the 2.50.1 RC2 is more optimized, but I'm a little paranoid using it for my quest because I don't want it to break anything. I'm assuming the 2.50.1 RC2 player is safe to run a 2.50 final quest on, so I may end up trying that. It's weird because on my old (now dead) laptop, I would actually have the game's input lock up on me. For instance, Link moves left and I can't stop him, he stops, he moves again, occasionally using his B or A button item and then it unlocks itself.
Here I'm just getting crappy FPS, and it seems purely random. Also it seems if I leave ZC idle too long I get the lag as well. I really don't get it. Sometimes I can test my quest for an hour with the FPS always at 58-60, other times I can't get it above the 45-50 mark. It throws off my timing a lot for a lot of things. Fullscreening only seems to sometimes fix the problem. I tried setting it on Task Manager to High priority and on Low priority, but again, that only works for a few minutes, if that. I noticed that ZC takes up about 100 MB worth of memory running my quest but others only around 70 MB of RAM. I don't have a single script; just some custom sound effects. I'm almost afraid to release my quest if it's going to be a lag fest.
Probably the weirdest thing is when I record anything from ZC, the lag seems minimal. It's like the more RAM I use up, the faster ZC runs, which makes NO SENSE. How can I close out of everything resource intensive (Skype and Firefox mainly) and get crap FPS yet have everything running and get okay FPS? And is this a problem in the RC?

Just finished up the Light World of Ballad of a Bloodline deluxe. If I invest some more time in it, BBDX could soon be finished...

Scripted a small bullet hell segment for a dungeon. There's 4 in all where you need to focus on dodging projectiles for a small amount of time. From there, you'll get a key. Looking forward to making the other 3. :3
Someone should make a shooting game in ZC which must be easy.

So I fixed an issue with Lanmolas which don't want to respawn, and I've started some more progress on my Level 4!

I finished playing a demo after having a one-of-a-kind video chat with a few members; nothing special.

I started creating level 3 today. It is much more creative and complicated than the previous two levels. I'm quite happy with what I have created so far. About 40% done with it.

Finished work on a overworld this morning and and got building Level 1 and Level 2 in my new "real" quest. At least the game is coming along quite nicely.

I made some screens for my Hyrule Field area; taking my time here, slowly but surely. Giving a quality world is my goal. ![]()
Edit: I'm just going to say, I'm so humble my quest has gotten a lot of good attention. I hope to pay yous back with an amazing demo.
