Yeah, what he said, Master Of Pigs, lol! I finally finished this quest, which is one of the few that I have actually completed from start to finish though I came pretty close with the Hero Of Dreams, only stopping after I encountered the final boss and just never got around to finishing the quest. That insanity that was you having to run down the mountainside though to escape being charbroiled by the lava flow was well, insane, lmao!! I finally got it right after a few screwups though, but it was mainly because I would get stuck and not know where to go and when you're forced to think under pressure it can be hard to think clearly. I was also able to grab the Awesome Arrows (Lmao!) out of the Master Dome, acquire the Dragonscale Mail which helped quite a bit having that, and complete that last heart container, so I believe I had a hundred percent completion on the first playthrough though it cost me about eighty three games and close to thirty hours I think to do it! Well, we can't all be ZC masters but then again I wasn't playing for speed or low game count anyway. The five stone tablets with the tidbits about the natives of the island were also interesting as well. You know, I remember reading Revfan's comments on AGN about how there was no storyline to this quest and how it got boring after the third dungeon which he quit at, and he didn't even scratch the surface of what this quest had to offer. Oh well, it's not my loss, heh heh. You do realize though that the ending you left it with could easily lead into another quest if you two chose to take up the challenge though with the creative struggles you two had with this I can certainly understand your lack of enthusiasm there, lmao! Again, good work; now I just have to wait for the next blockbuster to show up for the party!

I am 100% sure they are not making another quest together. But one of them might make the sequal by themselves. I know Peteo said he was going to make a non Zelda game next, so it won't be him. DFW said she was working on a new quest unlike any other, so it might be Lost Isle 2. Although a second one done by one of the original makers won't be near as good as the first. The thing that made Lost Isle so good was the creativity that each person added. They had two completly different ideas about how to make a good quest, and the result of combining the two ideas was a quest unlike any other.

I'm stuck in the 3rd ( I think? It's the castle one) level, I have the flute, but when I play it on the two flute tiles I can find (One is in the basement, the other is on the first floor near the entrance), nothing happens. What am I supposed to do?

And this is the first time I played LI in months, so I forget. Where did the flute come from?

You got the flute from Tahou Woods right before Level 2, remember?

You need to learn the Royal Melody before you can use those. It's later in the dungeon, ignore the musical notes for now.

can someone help me? I beat the level 5 boss, got back to the beach, and exited the cave and got returned to the begining. I don't know where to look for the fire boomerang, and i have no idea where to go next. I saw something in the dark cave on the beach (the one with the bats), but once i exited I couldn't get back in. Someone help pleae?

When you get back to the small island, (where is a zap portal and some pounding stakes on the first screen) then go through the island, go into a cave and there's a chest.

You got put back to the very beginning from a small island when going into a portal, not? When you went into the portal, you had been asked if you want to stay on the small island or go back to the very beginning. Now, you need to defeat the final boss and go through the beach scene again.

i must have missed when i got asked that? i was in the cave on the beach and it was totally dark a found a room that let me out and i was sent back to the begining beach. where do i find the final boss? do i have to go back to level 5. can i still get the fire boomerang

am i supposed to go in the dark bat cave? if so what path should i take in there?

The Level 5 boss is the final boss. So yes, you have to go back to Level 5. After leaving the beach (after defeating the Level 5 boss) you had been asked if you want to end your game or you want to continue. You need to continue and so you are on the beach. You don't go into the portal, rather go through the island and you get what you want.

i figured out what i did wrong. i was going into the cave on the beach instead of taking the raft. That cave should be closed up so people don't make the same mistake.

Man that ending is anticlimactic

Yeah, that's a huge mistake on Petoe's part, but its equally a huge mistake on my part and every single tester of Lost Isle for not catching it. Just remember everyone, TAKE THE RAFT OFF THE ISLAND! The entire friggin island is exploding, why would you go into a cave deeper into the island when its going to explode? GET THE FOOK OFF!

Lol, I was in such a hurry that I didn't even realize any caves in the far or close distance... I had half hearts but I didn't want to use up my potion because I didn't know if time goes when I use my potion and because I thought there would be some extra boss after the raft. I remember myself leaning over my laptop with cramped hands, readying myself to slash, slash, slash if needed... And then I heard the beep noise through the ending... Oh, great times...

Huge mistake? Geez... I forget to block one cave entrance and it's a huge mistake?
Besides, who the heck goes into a cave anyways when the island is blowing up? >_<

So um, how do I get past the death floor in level 1? Do I need to be really fast or somthing?
