Monopoly is next gen gaming.

Monopoly always winds up ending very badly in my house last time I played with my brother and sister I wound up with a black eye.

I never have anyone to play it with in mine. Neither of my parents are interested in it, and most people I play want to play with all kinds of stupid rules, like the Free Parking jackpot (and the variant it starts with $500) and uneven building (you could have 4 houses on Boardwalk and 0 on Park Place). But to be honest, my favorite Monopolies are the Oranges, Reds and Yellows. Statistically speaking, the Oranges are the most likely to be landed on with Red right behind them. I also seem to have a lot of luck with Yellows if I manage it. Generally, my ideal game is at least one of Orange, Red or Yellow Monopoly and a Railroad Monopoly. I've bankrupted quite a few people with them before. Anyway, here's my analysis of each monopoly:

Purple/Brown: These are useless. Unless you're playing 4+ players and it's the only Monopoly on the board, it's garbage. In games with a lot of players, you can bleed the opponents out with $250/$450 rents, but late game, they're pathetic. That and they have the lowest chance of being landed on.

Light Blue: Not bad, but if you owe money, you're probably going to lose these in a hurry. $550/$600 rent is pretty decent, and you only need $750 to max out their potential.

Pink: Pretty solid at $750/$900 rent when maxed and has a decent chance of being hit. Nothing sucks more than being in jail and hitting double 2s, getting forced to pay $900.

Orange: Statistically, they are the most profitable Monopoly in the game and are the second most likely to be landed on, losing out to only the Railroads. $950/$1000 rent is a pain. Even worse, you have about a 50/50 chance of hitting an Orange property from jail. There is also "Go back 3 spaces" between Kentucky and Indiana to screw you over as well.

Red: These are the second best properties overall in the game with the 3rd highest chance to hit as well as the 3rd highest profitability overall. The only downside is they're pricey to build on, requiring $2250 to max them out, and only give a little more than the Oranges. Still, a lot of my games were won with these.

Yellow: Pretty good as well, but not as much as the Reds due to lower chances of hitting them. I had a few victories with these as well.

Green: Ugh, cue the awesome but impractical trope. They are very expensive to improve ($3000) and are one of the least likely to be landed on. Being by "Go to Jail" doesn't help. Still, $1275 and $1400 rent with hotels hurt.

Dark Blue: I have mixed feelings. They're cheaper than the Greens to max out at only $2000, but they are very hard to land on with Park Place being among the hardest to land on properties in the game. I've seen games with these go both ways; you get lucky and flatten the other player(s) to the tune of $1500/$2000 rent, or you don't and get slowly drained. Bit of trivia, but Boardwalk with 4 houses is worth more than a hoteled Park Place ($1700 versus $1500 rent).

Railroads: Only really good if you have all four. This is where they shine. The highest probability to hit and two cards that make your opponent pay double rent. Yeah, enjoy your steady $200 of rent every so often.

Utilities: Garbage. They only generate a maximum of $120 rent (landing on it when both are owned with a 12 or getting the card for it and rolling a 12). They're only good IMO as trading bait. Funny enough, in the GEN version of Monopoly, this is an easy way to get $500 off the computer if you sell them the other Utility they need to complete their Monopoly.

Uh... for me brawl is, I can no longer get to my stage select menu on my disk of it as soon as I select it it locks up making a horridness noise.

Brawl is fun. The disc knows how to whay pettle. It may be a slow game to me, but it's good.

Um... I don't think I bought that game new, just last year. Its spotless no marks of scratches.

It's your Wii then. Pointing out problems with a game that don't actually even exist doesn't make it broken, it just means you're lying to try and prove a point.

Its totally not my Wii. My Wii is still quite new and it plays all the other games just fine. I'm not evening lying about it there is no d*** reason to lie about it.
