I haven't heard much about this, but has anyone else incorporated the remote bombs in their attack rotation?  I tend to swap between the round and boxed bombs during each of their cooldowns, and they can both be spammed with 0 cooldown if upgraded to the + (barely into the main questline you can do this).  It helps with AoE and keeps Bokoblins on the ground a lot.

They also oneshot the skeletons that come out at night.  Still have to hit the heads though.

Like with any Zelda, I abuse bombs as much as possible. I'm kinda surprised that cool down exploit made it to the final game.

As far as one handed weapons, I have seen a couple 90+ Royal Guard ones in Hyrule castle, but I can't prove it. They all had buffs.

I use remote bombs often when attacking a group of enemies from high up where they can't reach me. It takes longer to take them out but saves my weapons from wearing out and I like to keep my arrow stocks above 300, which is easy as I have like 10 Amiibos.

I have been making slow progress since I got my Switch two days after launch but after two beasts I feel invincible now and the guardians I used to avoid like the plague I can now take down with ease. I finally opened the whole map and got the Master Sword so now I'm upgrading my stamina a bit more.

I've used bombs on enemy camps quite a bit. The classic move was standing atop those skull caves, dropping a remote bomb through the eye, and watching them all go boom. :P

It's good, but sadly it's only slightly less lackluster.

I would do that all the time with the skull camps! Later on it took a while to take down the silver enemies in this fashion though, but that didn't stop me.

Am I the only one who hasn't gotten all the shrines yet? I only have 108 and I'm running out of places to look lol. I've been playing since day one!

Nah, I still got to beat a few. Taking my time with it though and enjoying them as much as I can. :)

I'm on 56 with 2 beasts down.  I'm just chillin' with the game, not using a guide or anything.

I'm almost at the point of finishing the game. Got all 900 Korok Seeds, all 120 shrines, every sidequest done. All I have to finish off now is to defeat Ganon, max out all my armour, finish the Hyrule Compendium and collect the Medals of Honour, and hopefully I got 100%.

Very solid game, I've had a real blast with it in the last 2 months. There are a couple things I wish didn't existed or could've been changed, but overall it's an amazing experience. Probably not my all-time favourite Zelda (still keeping that spot for the Wind Waker :v) but it's very close, at least 2nd or 3rd. Still undecided about that lol

I'm going to try to copy my save to an SD card so I can start another playthrough. I've been thinking about this a lot, and if I was a reviewer in any capacity, the save system would knock it down a whole star, or number or whatever. You're telling me the newest, most state of the art entry in the franchise that not only popularized saving your game, but having multiple saves only has one freaking save? This isn't Pokemon, people. I'm glad that's the biggest flaw, and the game itself is awesome, but it is seriously mind boggling why on earth they took this route. It's been out for two months now, we can be critical. :P

inb4 the Switch has 8 saves. Doesn't help Wii U owners.

Does creating a new profile on the Wii U not work for getting a clean Sheikah slate? If not, that's a shame; having eight profiles on Switch mitigates this a bit, but I do agree that it's strange you can't have multiple files, even if you can't rename them.

Actually, I just tried that, and it totally works. Once again, I was hasty. It's back to a 10/10 5 star mastapeece.

So yeah, Wii U users, if you want another save, just make another user account. This can be done offline, and does not require any Nintendo network ID hassle. I dunno why I didn't try this before, I was just reading all this (false) stuff about how the Wii U only has one save. :tard:

But I'm still gonna have to take a star away for no file select music.

I would think this would be an issue for those that obtained an eshop copy of the game...

Glad I got the cart version for switch, so I don't have to worry about issues like that.

Yeah, I have a physical copy. Can downloaded WiiU games only be used on the account that downloaded them to the system? I've never tried so I dunno.
