Overworld a bit too linear? Good lord, I'd hate to see a quest with an overworld that wasn't linear if that's what you consider linear! LOL

Thanks for the review, russ! Much appreciated! icon_thumbsup.gif

The names of the bosses? Well we haven't given any official names for them, and I have actually fogotten many of the names we gave them (silly me), but I can try to dig up the info from somewhere to see what the names of the bosses were. icon_smile.gif

I prefer the giant skull's name to be Death Eater. It just sounds cooler than whatever Petoe thought up. icon_razz.gif

Death Eater? Wasn't that the name for the enemies in Harry Potter?

And about the overworld being linear, it's just one part. South of the village, it seems to follow a path. Plus I wrote that review after doing the escape from Lost Isle scene, and that overworld is really linear. Only one way to go.

And what exactly is the purpose of Last Isle. I know that the fire boomerang is there, but it is awefully easy to get. You should have put a bonus level there. Maybe the Master Dome would fit better on Last Isle.

And about Morlach's final form. You drew it based on those floor tiles for the boss marker, didn't you?

And about the credits. I laughed so hard when I saw this part:

"General design and planning: DarkFlameWolf. Producer: Peteo. Executive Producer: DarkFlameWolf."

Well, the name just sounds cool and it fits the skull, so that's what 'I'M' going to call it.
As for it being linear during the escape sequence, we MADE it that way. Play it through normally and its a bit more wide-open. Its only during the escape sequence we blocked off all routes except for the one leading to the beach. (although there is a two-route split in the village, one path has more enemies, one has more obstacles)
Last Isle is just something fun we decided to plop in, nothing more, nothing less.
Morlach's form was actually not taken by that floor tile, although it was an unintentional reference we later figured out and said: Cool! But it takes aspects of Dethevn from Breath of Fire 2 and some twisted thoughts from Petoe and I to get Morlach.

Yes, as for the credits, I did do the overall general design and planning for the whole quest and was the initial instigator and starter of the whole project. Petoe became my second-in-command.

Indeed. When I was almost finished with Morlach, I finally realized that the floor tile and Morlach himself look alike. That was a cool moment. icon_smile.gif

That describes him, but it isn't really a name for him. I think he should be called "The Death Skull". And I am just curious about the enemies. I have been able to figure ou the cause for most of them. Like the wizrobes are from Morlach's factory, and the octorocks just occur on their own. But what about the deathbos? They are certainly not androids like the rest of Morlach's army. But he seems to have some control over them (e.g. he summons them during the last boss). So how do they fit into the whole story?

I was just kidding about that name. I can come up with better names, geez. icon_razz.gif

And what's the deal with Deathbos? Well, one more thing for players to speculate. icon_wink.gif
I think Wolfie can give you something official about Deathbos, those deadly and spiced up Gibdos...

ancient bodies/souls produce ancient gibdos that are far more deadly than the freshly risen bodies/souls of the recently dead inhabitants.

Hey Peteo, you should make a tutorial. I love how you make the dungeons and stuff, I really would like to make a quest with freeform dungeons as good as you do. icon_biggrin.gif
