No, it's not that I hate work. It's that I hate this job. I'd rather paint houses for eight hours a day than do this job. I actually used to do that, so I know.

I don't know I don't think I would want to paint houses for 8 hours... Whats your current job? (Whatever it is, it makes you hate it so I'm a little curious on what it is).

Yeah even I would hate that job <.< So yeah maybe I would want to be out painting houses instead of being stuck inside at a desk all the time. (I feel your pain)

How about this one? Parcel Pickup. Basically, I'm a cart pusher, janitor, dairy stocker (evening shift only), plant waterer and stocking clerk (item returns) all in one. In addition, I am required to do other tasks that other managers may need me for. The one thing I don't mind is helping out the elderly and physically disabled customers, although sometimes, especially when it's warmer out, it's a pain. That and dealing with an A-hole store manager doesn't help. He's such a stuck up snob and he gets an attitude if you bring ANY problem to his attention. Hell, I asked if something could have been done about some wasp nests and after two weeks, NOTHING was done about it. It took one of the monitors telling a white lie to get them to FINALLY get someone out there to spray the nests. She only did that because she did not want me to get discriminated and harassed by my bosses into ragequitting my job.

Oh and my reward for all of my hard work and all the crap I have to deal with? How about minimum wage? At this point given the grocery store's track record the past month or so, I wouldn't be surprised to either get NO raise after my 90 day probation period ends or a slap on the wrist raise (like 20 cents).

Anyway, that aside, I had a great day at work. Until I was about to come home anyway. We had a NASTY storm. When I got off work, it was very dark out and windy. By the time I pulled out, it was raining. By the time I got two traffic lights towards home (about 2 minutes later), it was hailing and raining so hard that if you put your hand out as far as you could with your palm facing you, that was about my visibility. Even worse, flaggers were screwing up traffic. It took me about 20-25 minutes to drive the two miles needed to get home. I was getting scared a lot too, mostly fear of my car flooding out from hitting a puddle too fast. See, my car sits pretty low. Really bad because I have to be careful with slopes as well and crowded parking lots are a nightmare since I have to inch my way out and can't see ANYTHING. So when I go to a Wal-Mart, I park in the spots furthest from the entrance just to avoid that hassle.

I used to work in retail, too. I hated stocking, but when I was promoted to electrical sales, it was a little better. But some of those customers ...

I almost electrocuted a doctor, once. True story.

I worked retail once as well, It was at walmart... I worked nights stocking and Cart pushing. I have had some bad nights. My boss made me get the carts from outside when it was raining... mainly because the other workers would not do it.

I worked from 11PM to about 4:30AM. Its pretty hard work at that late at night, through the silence at night is nice.  But after awhile I got fed up with the late night hours and being unable to get a shift during the day. I quit and got a job as technical support at a small establishment. At least its something I enjoy ;)

I used to work for one of those wholesale clubs doing the jobs of 3 and a half people. They made me work 7 days a week. On weekends I worked half days, but on weekdays I worked 10 to 12 hours. One of the jobs I did was managing time clock punches in the computer and doing payroll. Basically, I padded my paycheck when I did the payroll. My cocaine addicted manager never figured it out, even when I pretty much got caught red handed. I spent all the extra money on weed to deal with the stress of the job and also at home where my friend and I were living with a crazy person. One day I walked into my manager's office and he was on the phone saying to someone, "Well, if you have stress at work and stress at home, you might as well just kill yourself!" That gave me a great idea! Fast forward to today where I am not dead. The End! Wubba Lubba Dub Dubs! Goodnight everybody!

I think the problem I have with this job is that I have to talk with humans on a semi-regular basis and that drains me.

Got my mail today and got the WEIRDEST thing addressed to my mother. It had her name and my name on it for something to buy a heart necklace with our birthstones. First of all, it should be MOMSNAME & DADSNAME, not MOMSNAME & Adam. Just really weird. Even if she wasn't my mother, a 24 year old guy marrying a 57 year old woman is pretty weird IMO. I think they meant to put my father's name on it instead of mine. Yeah, my mind is blown.

Off-topic news since this wouldn't be legal under "What Did You Accomplish in ZC Today?", I completed level 1 of my quest project in Minecraft. I know, I was very bored.

EDIT: If anyone is interested in the map file, shoot me a PM. You must be in at minimum Minecraft 1.7.4 to open it.

I was thinking of advertising myself as a cat whisperer, lol. Really I would just be massaging elderly cats. I think it helped my parents' cat become more active and increased her appetite.

The next Cesar Millan perhaps? Or maybe the next Jackson Galaxy?

I looked up the lyrics to a dubstep song today and these were the results:

Ho dun, dun, dun, dun
Dorr, dun, dun, dun, dun
You tad ooh don troll dun
Un ina duh! Dun
Stage lexicon dooh dun
Me swed job da me deeh
Me love sanity dun bimmy

Bon, bon, bon, fire
Un ina duh! Dun
Stage lexicon dooh dun
Me swed job da me deeh
Me love sanity dun bimmy
Bon, bon, bon, fire.

Truly the voice of a generation.
