Yeah, it's great that everyone seems to love the crazy dream world level. It was kind of a "last minute addition", but still a good idea obviously.

Hero's Bow may not seem like such a great upgrade at such high cost, but it depends on who you ask. I find the fast arrows very helpful at certain parts of the quest. icon_wink.gif

I want to buy the hero's bow, but I don't even have a quiver that holds that many arrows. Where is the next quiver?

Regarding the dream, I loved it. Especially the dancing. The whole dream was so wonderfully random. My favorite part was the layer screens. I love that lynel. "You are experiancing a glitch. Just wander around on these useless layer screens untill you find something."

The bigger quiver is the prize of the Raft maze. Where is the Raft maze? Well, it is in a cave that you can enter from the Zakerand Fields. icon_wink.gif

I think I found a bug. I beat the level 4 miniboss, only to find Ilacked the kay needed to open the chest containing the rod chip upgrade. However, I just walked behind the chest and got the chip, without the chest opening or the music and hold up item thing playing.

yes it is a bug, a pretty bad, obvious bug someone missed, but regardless, you now have an extra key. Just think of it as a bonus easter egg in the quest. icon_wink.gif
BTW, is walking behind the chest a common thing for everyone to do?
geez. lol

I'm sorry DarkFlameWolf. I can't promise that it won't ever happen again, but hopefully it won't happen again. icon_cry.gif

Yeah, I wonder how we missed that one.

Hey, I'm fine with it. Thanks to that bug, I now have the boss key, and didn't even have to find the second key. So, where is the boss door?

By the way, you do know about the walkable walls in Cultist Cave, right?

Alright. I CANNOT figure this out.

My situation is thus: I'm in the Plague Fortress. I have acquired both keys, have acquired the Rod chip, have located the door to the boss (and activated the warp to same door), and unlocked gates 1, 2 and 4. I've also located gate 3. The problem is, I cannot for the life of me find the switch to open gate 3. I've wandered throughout the level with the power both on and off, and I have no leads whatsoever on any new areas in the dungeon to visit, or on areas I've already visited that are different now that I have the chip and access to the power. I saw some directions earlier that said something along the lines of "go to the second floor then back down to the first" and someone mentioned that the switch is in the middle of F1. Can someone please, for the love of Morlach, guide me to this switch?

Oh, and I'm very intrigued by what I read in the Laboratory. Looks like a very interesting storyline is still unfolding.

Update 1: Alright, I can see the #3 switch now. I'm consulting my map with the power out to determine how to reach the switch, but so far, no luck.

Update 2: Alright, I've found it.... there was a room where I had to slaughter all the baddies to unlock a door, and I'd yet to do that...

I believe you have to turn the power off, turn off a few ground levers, then turn the power back on to reach the switch. It is towards the middle of floor one. Since you found the boss door, would you mind telling me where it is?

Well, let's see. If memory serves, the path is:
-With power off, go past Gate 2 and head right (I believe) at the T right after the gate. Travel in that direction until you find a sliding switch. Push it to "O," then go and turn the power on. (That may not be the right direction... if not, then just explore the area past Gate 2 with the power off until you find the switch. It won't take much poking around.)
-Go back to Gate 2 and head to the left, to the room with the sliding block puzzle. Complete the puzzle and head up. Dodge or kill the enemies there and head up again.
-Complete the challenge in this room, then go right and solve the sliding block puzzle here as well. Go down.
-Now you'll be on a path that leads to a blue transporter pad. Take it and make your way past another couple of screens until you reach the room with the boss door.

the 4th switch is on the southwestern part of F1. Now that you have the Rod Upgrade Chip, you can lit those green thingies on the floor to make them flash and to disable the laser beams.

I cannot figure out how to beat the boss. When he gets in front of the door and waves of damage combos start coming, how do you beat him?

Destroy the Computer screens with arrows, it'll overload, destroying him.

...Dear god...

Finally decided to start back up on level 3 again and almost done but I can't find one more key to unlock the big chest in the basement. I've found 3 since I've gotten the ladder and new tune. I've also gotten the one on the beach before.

I'm sorry, but this level is really trying my patience with this game. It's WAY to long, and way to frustrating with all the holes. I haven't had trouble with it till now where I've been searching for this key for 2 hours. It's 2:30 AM here and I'm so frustrated with falling down to the damn basement my hands are shaking. Time to go to bed... icon_sweat.gif

Did you get the key outside of the castle to the right side. If you find the enterance to the right and then follow the path to a cave. If you have the ladder you should be able to do it. Thats just a suggestion though you could already possibly have this key.

Nevermind you already got the one on the beach I'm not sure then.
