That's a special cave that may lead to my Hero Cave or a secret temple. Haven't decided yet.

Edit: Its called Dark Cave, its supposed to be that dark.

This is the entrance, it's not 100% finished, but that's the layout I'm going for. That stair way above is the end of the cave which will lead underground to a deeper and more dangerous place.

Edit: My monitor is really bright, hopefully it's not that dark on other monitors.

I really like these screens, they have a nice setup, and a good feel to them. They look like they could go as complete screens, but it'll be interesting to see what else you decide to do with them.

Well, i decided to show what i've added so far. i'm still loading all of Linkus's tiles.

I like how this look. I really enjoy the water quite a bit. Nice setup for the screen too.

Hmmm, I have been playing around with some tiles and I made a "test" screen. It may make it into the game, that's what I mean by test with quotes around it.



What do you guys think?

I really hope this ends up making it into your quest. It's a really nice looking screen, and would be a shame for it to go to waste.

To be quite honest, I really don't like this. I think this has grass tiles, and water tiles, but I really can't tell what any of it is.... I don't think I would like playing a quest that would look like this. Perhaps you have some structures and whatnot to show it has a bit more feel then just random tile pattern design. I usually like your tiling work, but this seems very off...

So we meet again!

It looks good, but it looks like a basic village, nothing to look at that sparks creativity, try adding something new and creative to the map. Also there is too much detail going on, it feels cluttered with the rain even without the rain.

Hmm, I believe it rains almost everywhere on Earth.... Similarities are bond to happen.

Also, I try not to let Yoshi copy screens. It pisses me off when he does that so I threaten to beat his ass.

I know it looks like....a certain screen, but it's not. I saw him making it, his computer is right by mine.
And, it doesn't even look to much like said screen anyway. Just because there are similarities, doesn't mean that he is rippin' off another person.

Dude, just because there is a rain scene in your game does not mean other people can not make a rain scene, sheesh.
