I'm curious, has anyone held a snake before? I'm not talking a small baby one neither. I have a adult carpet python and I can hold him on occasions (not around the time he eats though, because he can strike at the slightest moments, which can be rather nerve wrecking, to say the least).

I would never hold snakes. I'm kinda petrified over them, deadly or not >_>
But, on the topic of snakes, I guess the closest to ever being next to a snake was back in Portugal (around the Vila Real area), there was a snake in this river my family and I were chillin' in. The snake kinda approached us and Joel, my baby sister, my mum and I all ran off somewhere to hide since we're terrified of snakes
Meanwhile, my dad and other family members were just playing around with the snake, but I guess the Portuguese are used to all the snakes in their rivers lol.

I'm also terrified of snakes. Like, really horrified. I'm genuinely curious where the appeal in them as pets lies. And it snaps at you at feeding time? ... Just why? Why keep the scaly, demon-eyed little horror around at all?
Okay, I may be just a touch biased ...

I've never held a snake, and don't want to. I'm scared of them. We get copperheads and rattle snakes. (its hard to believe they are here in Tennessee, but they are.)
Most of the time I see a snake around where I live they extremely violent and strike at you, ever since my dog got bit by one I've been killing them as I see them.
I know I'm horrible, but I do not want to be bit by one and I know if I get bit I can't go to the doctor so pretty much I'm doomed ![]()
Though its illegal to kill a rattle snake here for no reason, I still don't know why but whatever.

I was gonna touch this snake but he was too quick for me

You're Ike!?
I don't know, I think having a snake as a pet is kinda cool. All though, the size has become quite scary.

So like, no matter how hard I try, I seem to lack the ability to draw, whether it be on the computer or on paper, everything I draw is horrible.
Example:
My attempt at drawing a Cacturne's head: http://prntscr.com/3gn3cs
This is about the best I can amount to when it comes to art.

I can't draw to save my life. MAYBE if I had to make a diagram or something having to do with mathematics, but other than that, I end up making people with massive beer bellies, disproportionate arm/leg sizes, lanky messed up arms and feet that are literally just an oval with two lines drawn on it for toes. Example of how I make someone's feet look (because humans obviously have three toes that just look like two lines/creases on their feet):

As for the snake handling, no thank you. I hate pain and to be honest, the last thing I want is to get poisoned or at least need shots or whatever. Bad enough I'm terrified of bees, wasps, hornets, yellow jackets, etc. And no, video game ones don't bother me. Neither do pictures of them. However, a yellow jacket is enough to make me scream, panic and run like my pants are on fire. Yes, I'm admitting it. I'm afraid of bees and the like. And I have to face them every day, and on days I work for around 6 hours on average. Not looking forward to Summer when they'll be all over the place and I'll be stuck pushing carts. Hopefully by then I can get trained in another department to keep me out of the heat. And that is another weakness; I cannot stand the heat. So if we're going by Final Fantasy X weaknesses, I'm weak to fire, immune to water, strong against ice, neutral to lightning and holy.

WELL! Interesting day at work. So I was just doing parcel pickup stuff like normal for my first two hours right? Well, one of the managers came up to me and told me to take the three carts in the back of the store and try to shelve the items in them. From what I could gather, the three stock clerks pretty much went AWOL on her, so she turned to me to get their job done. I spent a majority of my time up to and after lunch doing what THEY were supposed to do. Needless to say, that should net me a nice amount of brownie points with my superiors. Shame I had to do someone else's job, but it should pay off.

De-heeerp! Yeah, Nexas, that is one jankity-jank problem you've got there. But really, it seems to me that your issue is just steadiness of hand. It's a problem I suffer from myself (I use a mouse for everything and my traditional drawings suck) but there are some workarounds!
There are two digital artforms I'm familiar with that work just fine with a mouse. First is vector art, like in Inkscape. You simply click where you want the outer corners of your shapes and then you drag your handles to manipulate strokes. It might sound a little weird, but if you've ever played with the bezier curves in MS Paint it's almost exactly like that. In fact, vector art is incredibly well suited to simple characters like Pokemon. Here's a good demonstration of about how long it takes to trace something...
And my second recommendation would be pixel art! It's as simple as zooming in to like 8x size and manipulating an image pixel-by-pixel. It's incredibly easy to do with a mouse and in fact, a lot of top pixel artists have testified that spriting with a mouse is the easiest way. My personal recommendations would be Derek Yu's awesome pixel art tutorial (how I learned the ropes!) and ASEprite once you feel you've outgrown MS Paint.
