you need the holy arrow found in the fire cave portion of level 5 to defeat that mini-boss.

burn those blue trees

go to Basement 2 and look for the whistle block at the top middle of that floor.

Hmm, so I've already taken care of my first situation, eh? I thought that was the problem.....

Anyways, mucho gracias y'all!

Woot! I finally beat it, great game you two! Kudos! icon_thumbsup.gif Heh, and I love how all that hard work is actually rewarded in the end. Hello Bombe....whoops, heh, almost spoiled the surprise for some of you. I guess all thats left to do now is find those last 4 Heart Pieces. Meh, maybe some other time. Heh, guess I'll download Origin now. icon_smile.gif

But good lord, how the heck did Anarchy_Balsac beat the Master Dome with only 3 hearts? Geez, he must be insane. I barely survived with 15.... icon_freak.gif

And for the ending part.....10 seconds per screen!? Wow, y'all stay merciless to the very end, huh?

Congrats on beating the game though. Always makes me glad to hear that someone enjoyed the ending that is not your basic happy happy ending. icon_smile.gif

After 38 deaths, I've finally beaten this quest! It was very challenging to the end. Although Level-5 could have been more of a Ganon-like dungeon, (hundred rooms or so, just like DFW's HC:DC Quest.) Great job you guys. Too bad we can't use those enemies sprites you made! icon_heh.gif

38 deaths! I am only on level 4, and I have 209 deaths already. Mainly because I am lazy, and do stuff like press F1 just to go faster, or get killed to press continue to go to the begining of the level.

Anyways, how much bombs does it take to kill the catacombs boss? I got to him, but I ran out of bombs.

I made a video of the Death Skull. It is posted on YouTube. The link is on my signature.

The samething with me too. Sometimes I would just press F1 on the keyboard to also go through parts fast without caring too. Mainly in the overworld. In dungeons a took them seriously though. Its definitly handy I have to admit Russadwan. icon_thumbsup.gif

Question. Why is Link's dream so wierd? With the french gibdo and the evil Links and the little smily faces. And what's with the dancing wizzrobes and gibdos? Or the so called "bug" where you appear on screens being used for layers? I'm stuck in the room with the mirror wizzrobe. The mirror shield would really come in handy here. Where could I find one?

The mirrors in the room can be moved around.

I know they can be moved, but it is still very hard. And just becuas I am curious, those layer screens that Link gets warped to, are they actually used somewhere in the game?

Wow why did most people when they played this game get only deaths in double digits. They must have been conservative by using the pause and continue method over and over when they were probably about to die especially level 2. Well it shows everybody how much Russadwan and me cared about using that method. I love feeling lazy, but least I am not the only one. icon_rolleyes.gif
