Ah yeah... forgot about mentioning the grappling beam. Doesn't it also allow you to get the Mega fist? Hmm... I think it was only for navigatign the lava cave below easily.

Johan, you have the gold armor and L3 saber, right? If not, I recommend gettign them. L3 saber is in Lapin town's shop and the gold armor is in the mountains.

After beating level 7 or 8, if you go to the west side of Lapin in the OW (go aroudn the forest to the left), you'll come to a brick wall on the mountain. Super bombing this will take you to a side level with a very useful item. I'm giving you this tip, because you'll probably want that weapon.

And as Petoe said, there is a block puzzle. It's hard to memorize, so I drew it down on paper when I first played. icon_razz.gif I drew every tile on the screen, then filled in the ones with the blocks and labeled their colors. If you have trouble with this, Petoe or I will be glad to tell you which direction to push the blocks. icon_smile.gif

You are very helpful. Both of you! icon_thumbsup.gif

So I was in wrong level? Research laboratory is level 8, not 7? icon_freak.gif Oh yeah I remember Dr. Light talking about bombs! Back to Megacity again

I don't have L3 saber yet Polygonx8. It's too expensive. Any tips how to get lots of money in a short time?

Enemies in caves. Usually, killing enemeis in caves makes zens appear. icon_smile.gif

I swore there was 200 in MegaCity, but I forgot exactly... if anything, you should go into the hotel/apartment (large tower with blue walls and wooden doors), you'll fidn some zens there. But, don't buy it unless you really need it. Because that side level is where the L4 saber is. icon_sweat.gif And trust me, you want that item.

Ok. I will go to caves to destroy enemies. I visited the hotel (some rude people there icon_glare.gif) but missiles have drained most of my money.

And let me guess. The L4 saber side level is very hard? So maybe I should be a nice Johan and collect some money to buy L3 saber just in case. This L2 saber isn't very powerful anymore.

Well... caves and Zens... I'd say the best place to get rich is to kill sewer rats. At least when I play they almost always leave a silver Zen (5 Zens) behind.

And your fears are founded, Johan. Not sure what PX8 thinks about "the doom level" but that place ( L4 Saber mini level) can be quite insane. I'd like to prepare you for one nasty surprise but I don't want to spoil anything. So I'll just wish you luck. icon_thumbsup.gif

I thought the level was pretty damn hard. Thing is, after learnign the path, it was muc heasier. I just had to stun one crackie along the way, and the boss proved to be a bit tough (those damn hand combos).

It'd a hard side level, but it's worth it.

It has been really interesting to read people's comments about the hideout. Fortunately most have said it's a really cool place, but some have said it's a stupid place and some people have actually been really shocked because of all the gross stuff there. icon_freak.gif

It's really interesting to see how differently people react.

But the s... well I won't say anything before I know I won't spoil anything for Johan here...

Disabling the subscreen? Yeah, that's the nasty surprise... at least for very many people.

So um, if I interpret your comment correctly, you were one of those who were a bit shocked by the "hell", eh? I hope it wasn't too much, I mean I don't know your age or anything but believe it or not, some people have been offended by the gross stuff there. icon_shrug.gif I dunno should I feel proud or bad about it... icon_blink.gif

Not shocked really but I was surprised by the amount of blood and internal organs. icon_lol.gif The skull head was freaky!

Now I have a very strong Megaman. Not even Wily stands a chance against me unless he is the hardest boss in Wily's Revenge!
Now to the sewers.

Well, actually what happens in the end of the game is in my opinion the toughest stuff in the whole quest. But if you find almost all the LEPs, then you shouldn't have any huge problems anymore.

From my reading the L2 Light saber is requred to slash blocks on girders to get to boss, got the plate, it helps 1 spot to get heart piece. Was able to get to computer on b1 that opened door on right (past by severera flame shooters) but cannot seem to get to the door I opened. Also what do you get in the secret facility? The L2 light saber seems like it would be a great help in game. A more powereful weapon seems necessary now....

You get the L2 saber from the secret facility you mentioned. But the saber is not required to slash any blocks. There was some false information in Petoe's old FAQ. Looks like Petoe has changed many things in the new quest.

Dickbear, if you can't find some keys, then I can give you hints where to find the extra hidden keycards.

Oh and there's no need to create a new topic every time. icon_wink.gif
