K got the Gloves probably never would have found those without the help. Thanks Artistic!

If you can read the tagline that means you are really smart!

Your welcome! Thank you for saying that. :D  I don't consider myself smart really. Just average person with a lot common sense...just enough to keep me out of trouble. There are a lot more smarter people then me.

I mean the sword Sandstorm

Sorry! I hadn't seen one but I haven't paid attention to the names of the swords either.

That's a question for the experts.

Can every heart you see be picked up?

Can anyone answer this? I am guessing the answer is yes even though some of them look impossible

@Twilight_Knight

What I mean by invalidation of secrets is that they become useless. Like if you already have an item like bomb/quiver upgrades. Also golds you find seem more abundant when your wallet is small, especially when it comes from a chest. It's like why bother searching for secrets if they're going to be useless.

To make rewards for extra effort worthless is extremely bad game design. If it happened once or twice, I could consider it oversight and not a big deal. It happens way too many times and seems intentional trolling.

Some advice:

If you are going to have something in a shop do not make it a secret reward.

If you are going to have something as a secret reward, do not put it in a shop.

P.S: I said "invalidation of secrets" not "invalidation of screens", please read carefully before you quote someone.

Chill out man... I put money around for those who need it. Maybe you should spend more or you are missing a wallet. Maybe it's a sign of an extreme bad player?  :aggravated:

Can every heart you see be picked up?

Definitely.

When I push this block to the square the lens shows. I hear the secret sound but nothing seems to happen.

zelda054_zpsgo1fg3ap.png

How do you get this heart? Can't seem to find the secret passage for this one.

zelda082_zpsi2ctursn.png

Thank you!

And this heart!

zelda083_zpsdypjqhr6.png

The last 1 is possible to get, but the stone in the first screen is a bug! I think the chest gets overridden by layer 1.

Egbert's Keep HCP: I see only now that the cave leading to it is missing... -.- I'll add it in a future update.

Halberd City: You need the lens. Go 1 screen west of the sunglasses guy.

Can anyone answer this? I am guessing the answer is yes even though some of them look impossible

zelda071_zpss5mw1dre.png

I imported a ledge script just for this heart piece :D

Thank you nice people who are actually friendly and like my quest, or tell me constructively how to improve it. But goddamn the f***ing tards in this community make me regret even start working on this quest. Of course, everywhere people will criticize your game and some will do it harshly as if they are important and genius. But everyone here makes quests for fun, not for money, not specifically for your pleasure and certainly not to hear bullshit like "this is extremely bad game design" and "this dungeon was mediocre". I've been here for over 10 years, and time after time these trolls come and go.

All I'm trying to say is, I made this quest for my own fun and for to make others have fun. If you didn't have fun, fine, that's okay, not everyone will love it. But don't come whining with some dumb af arguments, instead of being constructive and nice, or I'll politely instruct you to go **** yourself.  :whap:

My apologies for the rude language, but I'm sick of it. Thank you everyone, apart from a few exceptions, for being nice and supportive. Staff can ban me now. :P

Edit: Also, much thanks to Artistic for helping out some players! I was very busy with work and will be the coming months.

Don't let it bother you please. This quest is wonderful and very extensive even if not perfect. Thank you for making it and don't get discouraged. We love you! I have just gotten the orb of fierce so you know where I am

in the game although I am missing too many heart pieces so off I go a-traveling.

As you can see I am on the lower ledge and I can walk thru to the right screen and see the area there, but can;t find my way to it.That guard won't let me in. Any hints?

So. You're going to complain about being treated unfairly, and then proceed to treat others poorly? No. That is unacceptable behavior that will not be tolerated on this site. If you take issue with comments other people make or reviews you find are unfair, there's a report button to bring it to the attention of the staff. You do not lash out at members verbally, whether insulting their playing skills, telling them to "go **** yourself," or any other harsh commentary. That will do nothing but reflect poorly on you.

On the topic of criticism, if you can't handle negative criticism, then all I can really say is that maybe you shouldn't even release a work publicly, because you won't escape negative criticism. Sometimes it's foolish criticism or harshly-worded, but you're going to find it anywhere. Look at the big industries, movies, books, video games: They can get harshly-criticized, but that doesn't stop them from making more works, especially in the movie and book industry. People are free to speak their minds on what they think of a work, whether it's reasonable or strongly-worded. The line is only drawn when it becomes a personal attack, or is an objectively unfair rating (i.e. only played a few screens of an unbroken quest or rated based on screenshots).

You can't insult people just because they have different tastes.

Staff can ban me now. :P

And this only serves to prove that you knew better than to post something like this.

I don't fully agree with the invalidation of secrets, but i find it odd that you can find the 100 arrows Quiver so soon. You can get it on the way to level 2. Granted you need a Super Bomb to get it, but 300 ruppees are not that hard to grind for. I think putting that quiver upgrade in a later area would be better. Something like Halador Tundra would be better.

phatjak69: If you are talking about the level 3 sword you get it in level 5 through a bombable wall on the left side of the map just got it last time i played.

Artistic: I would say your smarter than average considering you got through most of this quest!  ;)

For the chest, you have to push the green rock on the same screen.

I do finish the quest with both endings, but don't get to find the lens of truth, where's it ? :(
