Three minutes is more than enough time to show the name, look, concept and direction of the system. I mean, assuming they want to show all that, but given that we're already in unprecedented territory in terms of how close we are to a major system launch while having almost no official information on it, there's not much reason for them to hold back all that much on those aspects.

 

For anyone who hasn't seen it yet, here's the Emily Rogers NX blog post. Given how correct she was about the news today, it seems safe to say that what her blog describes is accurate to what we'll see in the system tomorrow.

 

Here's what Nintendo's other recent system reveal trailers have looked like. The NX reveal trailer tomorrow morning will probably be in line with those: Show the design, concept, its potential applications, but not much in the way of actual game footage.

 

I'm unbelievably excited to finally see it. I've never seen a console reveal anticipated so... passionately, let's say. And I don't know if I'll ever see it again! Wii came close, but the sheer about of time we've spent this information-starved has made this something else.

I really hope Nintendo doesn't screw up this time. As much as I may have liked Wii U (despite thinking it was their worst console), it was overall a failure.

I do, that's why I brought it up.  Things like Puyo Puyo Tetris or whatever, I couldn't just grab any of the Nintendo versions because bullshit.

...Annnyways, I can't wait for the reveal! Tired of seeing rumors, speculation and empty announcements about the NX. Hopefully they reveal enough to prevent any future rumors cause screw them.

I haven't been able to sleep (for multiple reasons).

 

The system has got to look better than the ugly fanart we keep seeing too much online showing what the system "might" look like.

There's no way it wouldn't be. This is something I've seen wanted for literally every Nintendo system release I've consciously followed, even the DSi and New 3DS, and they've never done it. I don't see what would change their minds this time around.
