well from the little image thingy in my sig, underwater dungeon 1 and 4: See those two islands between forest island and desert island? One is roughly in a shape of a cross and just north of it is a circle/box type of island made up of 3 smaller islands. Well check one screen east and two screens east/one screen north to find those two mini-dungeons.
Mini-dungeon 2, see that small island in the upper left of forest island, search one screen left of that. Finally see the island with blue trees south of forest island? There is a smaller island east of that in the upper right of that blue tree island north of Death Island. Search there for mini-dungeon 3.

So basically, they are all centered around forest island. wheee! EDIT: And now that I look at it, they are in a triangle formation....you start at one end, go counter-clockwise through the mini-dungeons and end up back where you started for the fourth one. Cool! Unitentional cool design!

Thanks DFW. I got the 4 HC pieces, took some time to guess where the mini dungeons were hidden hehe

The design looks awesome

Now I am trying to find the fire boomerang & golden arrow but any special hints where it is?
Since it's not stated in the IOTW document, is there a Master Sword in the game?

Btw, what Teilyr said is correct, pressing up while Link is stuck does get him unstuck

I say this and no more:

Fire Boomerang:
- Can be gotten after getting the Flippers
- Not at Volcano Island.

Golden Arrow:
- Can only be gotten at the very end of the game
- That's all I'll say, anything else gives it away.

I'm stuck in Level 2. I can't get to the upper right portion of the map where the boss is. Any hints?

I just found the fire boomerang by chance hehe

The Golden Arrow doesn't serve any purpose if it's found at the end of the game.

Anyway how do I get the HC piece here?

bomb the right wall at the start to access the route that leads to the right upper side of level 2.
As for that heart piece, go left a couple screens and move that rock there and enter the cave. Navigate that cave to get that heart piece Ielen.

And for your information, there is NO Master Sword in this game NOR is there any gold mail. I originally was never even going to put the Fire Boomerang in the game, but my testers *****ed and *****ed and I finally gave in. Under 1 condition: I wouldn't give a single clue where it was hidden, and it would simply be plopped in randomly somewhere in the game with NO hint as to where it was. Same with the Golden Arrow (which I did add of my own volition). And the Golden Arrow DOES have a purpose, however small. It serves to make the Gohma 3 boss recap in level 9 a bit easier. And the final parts of the game a bit easier. (since the Golden Arrow flies through all enemies until it hits a wall) Other than that, it has no other purpose. Just something extra.

ok ... sorry if i don't have any screenshot but i've got a minor but weird bug. This is using v1.92 beta 183. Listen to this DFW. On the shop screen of the swamp island ... there is a small path of shallow water just beside the said shop that allows you to reach the north "shore" or side of the river. However, at any time I come here before completing level 3, the path IS NOT THERE. Well, in fact you can still pass through the water but the path is not visible ... it is deep water. If I ever get a screenshot I'll edit the post but for now all I can give you is indications

Alright, fine, you get another hint to the Golden Arrow's location.

- In a room you don't want to stay in for long, or you may have to do a lot of retracing your path...

lol ok ok ... but i do know where that golden arrow is (at least I think huh) and thus know why nearly no one ever found it

By the way, about that fire boomerang ... is it semi-hidden like let's say the underwater rupees that only a player on the look-out might notice (of course if it's that way, I assume the hint is even more vague than for the rupees), or is it really like in the middle of nowhere like I have to dive in a nowhere square on a nowhere screen

Doin' some level hoppin' to get the 12 hearts for the Magic Sword to beat that Level 5 Boss...and SPOILERS...

Found that "hidden" secret Heart Container piece dungeon. Easily decided what to do.
