I'm stuck in the Tower on the 4th floor. In the room where I've got a key I can't figure out how to open the door to the left in order to use the key and hookshot  up.

Check for a walkthrough wall.

you get bait from beating level 6 to access the Abyssal Mountains.

you also can buy bait for level 8 in a shop in the cave you need to go through to get to level 8 in the dark wastelands.

Okay then, where is level 6?

It requires super bombs to enter and is in the south east part of the map.

 

Super bombs can be bought from a shop just west of the main village behind a dark stone requires the lvl3 gauntlet from the tower to get.

You know where the Cross is, because Level 6 boss is super hard! I guessing its the Digdogger then it was the Level 2 Manhandla. I still have the White Sword and I cant seem to get pass the Gannon statue in the Hero Tomb to get the Magic Sword.

The cross is actually IN Level 6. Look around the outside area and check possible hiding spots.

Obtained a key and two items, but can't seem to make more progress in level 6.  It seems like I need the gauntlet upgrade to move the blocks in the room where I used my one and only key. Where is the gauntlet?  Also, where did I miss the silver arrow or is it obtainable later? 

 

Need serious upgrades at this point in the quest.  It's been fun and challenging, but the constant mismatch between obtainable weapons and equipment against the higher level enemies has become tedious.

 

A fine quest otherwise.  I love the creative puzzles and exploration and am partial to pure tile set.  Thanks...

Have you seen a grave on a stone pillar surrounded by water?

 

What do I do with this grave? I've shot it, hookshotted it, whistled near it, dived around it... Can't figure it out.

Have you been going back to the Tower of Courage in the middle of the map to obtain high-tier items? They can be very helpful. If you want less specific help with the quest, the Lens of Truth can be found in the mystery dungeon, hinted at by one of the people in town.

 

At this exact moment, I'm not sure where the second glove is. Flying Fish can help you with that when he gets back on.

 

The second glove is in the Tower of Courage, Lvl5.

 

When I played through it, everything scaled nicely with the equipment I had on hand. If things are seeming difficult, look round for heart pieces and cool toys.

I've been going back to the tower for high tier items, as hinted early on in the quest. Visited last after level 5 when I got a superbomb, but couldn't go further against the gohmas without the silver arrow.  I have 11 plus heart pieces, and been to mystery places where I wasn't supposed to be yet.  I am simply lost at this point.  Would appreciate some direction. Thanks

It doesn't reach. I still have the rinky-dinky one. Did I miss the magic boomer somewhere?

Have you ever explored around the tower? It helps to look at your map to see what screens are missing. ^_^

There is a minigame that gets you the lvl2 boomerang. Look just east of Juno. There should be a bombable cave protected by tektites.
