I'm a HUGE fan of MM10's Wily Stage 1, both the stage itself and the music. I actually think most of the robot master themes from the game are unremarkable, but the music for the Wily levels and the 3 bonus stages are incredible.

But at least there are nowhere as forgetable for me as MM3's tracks, lol (I cannot even remember an entire song and I have played the game several times). But then again I struggle trying to remember the bosses or the stages themselves or the weapons. I still don't know why.

Were you playing the game on mute and blindfolded? :eyebrow:

I meanwhile only remember a couple tracks from 9 and 10, but my defense is I've only played them once. Like Aevin, I'm highly fond of the first Wily stage theme from 10, and I also love the second stage theme from 9. Otherwise they've all slipped my mind. I may either give them another replay soon or vainly hold out hope that Capcom will show us some love and rerelease them for 3DS and/or Wii U.

Imho, this is the best fifteen seconds of Mega Man 10. (Minor spoilers) They really went the extra mile (or fifty).

Just play the Wii versions on your Wii U...

I'd just prefer the convenience or multiple control schemes for a Wii U version, or portability of a 3DS version. Plus I'm not that big a fan of sideways Wii remote controls, unless they had nunchuck controls, which actually sounds kind of odd for a Megaman game. Yes, I'm picky.

This. This so much. Megaman 10's Wily Stage 1 and Wily Stage 3 are two of my favorite songs in the entire series (and possibly my top two, I dunno). On top of that, Absolute Chill gets my vote for best Robot Master stage theme. Megaman 10 has absolutely amazing music; it's probably my favorite in the series when it comes to the soundtrack. And in general, really.

Ah, I know those renditions but I'm not sure if I still have them...

The Satellite: nope ;), I have played all the classic Mega Man games at least twice (except MM6 because it's MM6). I don't know how many times I have played and beaten MM3, but I'm sure I could not count it with the fingers of one single hand.

And yet I don't remember anything but very brief moments.

You shut your filthy mouth! MM6 was awesome! :tard: It had some of the best robot masters in it: Centaur Man, Knight Man, Yamato Man, Flame Man, Tomahawk Man, Blizzard Man. Wind Man is ...meh and Plant Man can go suck a rose thorn.

The first MM game I ever played was Mega Man 4, and it's still one of my favorite games of the series.

I also like the Mega Man X series, but after X4, it went downhill... I hope Capcom goes back to the SNES route in MMX9 (if it ever happens) like they did with MM9's NES route.

I'm personally not a fan of the name "Mega Man Star Force" because a controversial copy protection software is also named StarForce. *shudders*

...Oh, and before anyone mentions Perfect King, he is very easy.

You just have to memorize his patterns. :sly:

I am agreeing with Megaman 10 - the game is awesome and so is the music... and wow at special stage 3 "Farewell to Ballade"!

If you haven't yet, give Megaman X8 a go on either PS2 or PC (PS2 version has awesome glitch though). The game is very good considering the abysmal horror that is X7. The game plays pretty similar to the SNES X games and is visually NOT an eyesore or buggy pile of miserable wretches like X7 was.

So I'm happy to say that I beat Megaman 1.

Might as well give all of my thoughts (don't expect this to be too long though :P), so let's begin with the simplest thing I can think of. Was it a good game? It was alright actually, though I believe that some things could've been improved and worked on, but I'll say it's alright, not good or bad, just in the middle. Next up, there were some good and some bad stages, and my favourite stage is probably Fireman's stage. Some stages such as Gutsman's stage made me rage quite a bit, and there are some stages with some really cheap moves (such as one of the Wily Stages where you gotta go down this shaft with the sliding enemies). Some of the bosses were pretty cool, where others just made me go 'eh'. Iceman is a good example, since all he does is shoot ice and that's it really, nothing else. Other bosses, like Fireman are pretty crazy seeing how I can't find any way to dodge his attacks. Then there's that bubble boss. It took me a couple attempts to defeat this guy, but seriously, who's idea was it to place a part of a machine inside a big bubble? Sounds kinda stupid to me, but oh well. And finally, let me unleash my rage on all of you about the Yellow Devil. Just WHYYYYYY does he exist. I managed to defeat him legit, but I swear it took me well over 30-40 deaths. That shit was insane, but I did notice there was a pattern to the way he moves over to the other side, so I tried to get used to it after a while. So, the soundtrack overall was pretty good. I'm not really a big nit-pick for music so I'll probably never have much to say about it. Anyways, I understand this was the first Mega Man game, so obviously things wouldn't be very perfect.

With that said, that was a pretty interesting experience. I'm going to be playing MM2 next, so I'm hoping it will be a great improvement over this game.

If I were to rate this game using PZC's star ratings... I'd probably give it a 3/5, but that's just me. With that said, onwards to MM2!

How long did it take you to beat it?  :odd:

Well, I played about 1-2 hours everyday, so it took me a total of at least 4-6 hours to beat this. Pretty terrible time seeing how long that took XD

Just a heads up, cus you are going to play Mega Man 2 next - MM2 has some bosses that trump the Yellow Devil in terms of difficulty (as in unfairness) tucked away in the Wily stages. Let me know if you rage at them LnGbui1.png
